Since I see a lot of people still arguing about fully established H3 settings every day I put out a benchmark prompt you can use to directly test your settings and system against mine and potentially others.

This video took me 51.5s on my 4090 with the sampling only taking 16s of those.
it's 10s long and 0.5mp at the seed 1420.

h3 doesn't know 'farting', but it does understand 'gas release'. you can either add it as a sound effect or describe the act in shot, but if you don't specify certain details, it might end up as a cough or burp.
you'll also need to creatively anti-cronenberg prompt, because it kind of knows what shitting and prolapse are, and it loosely associates farting with them, so sometimes this eerie cancerous protoplasmic protuberance will emerge, the ass cheeks will just inflate, or they'll roll coal which is amusing but might not fit the scene.

How do you use an environmental reference in H3?
I thought it would be as simple as attaching an image like this and saying this is where the target video takes place, to <Subject X> is the environment shown in <Picture Y>.
The problem is Minimax H3 is STRONGLY conditioned to use pictures like this as a composition/camera reference. The target video will ALWAYS start with this exact view no matter how much you tell it not to.
When I use an environmental reference, it should only serve as a REFERENCE, something that informs the video model of what the environment should look like, where objects are, how it's lit, etc. It should not mean composition anchor.

It can understand that a character reference doesn't mean literally copying the exact pose of the character in their reference image.
Minimax can literally make the camera travel inside the room and rotate in any orientation. So why can't it literally just make the start frame in a different view/orientation? Or better yet, just not anchor back to the picture reference at all.
I could put this image in Klein right now, tell it to show the camera from a different angle and it will do exactly that. Again, why shouldn't Minimax?
