Is closed source dead?
I think it'll be like Suno getting gaped by Sony and Warner where the frontier AI's will soon block all the reverse engineering or recomping/decomping, and software will be encrypted/obfusticated by AI in a way that makes unpacking it borderline impossible.
sure why not
Still no one can vibecrack Denuvo.

>>110025112lil chud, closed source will be the only option in the near future. You won't own a computer in 5 to 10 years. You will do everything from a phone or tablet on subscription based cloud services and you WILL BE HAPPY
>>110025112closed source NEVER dies, the companies keeps more stronger then before.well, you're talking about the death of open source.
>>110025314Sure, but not for the guards that will be implemented later on. Everything up now is vulnerable, but there's 0 dollars in anything if someone can make a free version of your thing
>>110025112tools already existed for turning binaries into c/c++ code. this has been a thing for at least 30 years.
>>110025355But it's far from automated. Ghidra needs a lot of human feedback to be useful so it's going back and forth with the person operating it trying to parse better code through multiple passes.
>>110025580Basically it's "I made this but you need to tell me what it means", which the operator does by reading back what it got out and figuring out how it applies to the actual logic of the software. Then they feed it back in so the program can then be like "oh, okay, so that's what that was, now I can figure out what this is so you can tell me what this part does" and so on.

>>110025225>and software will be encrypted/obfusticated by AI in a way that makes unpacking it borderline impossible.Bro current AI can run a loop to copy every feature it sees in the GUI via brute force method, until there is feature and visual parity.
>>110025112Intellectual property law has become outdated and must be destroyed. I will own everything and be happy.
