Please decompile Sony's official PS2 emulator from PS3 or PS4. Or the OG Xbox emulator from Xbox One or the 360. This is going to provide more value than a decomp of a single game.

CHINESE SPIES INSIDE OPENAI

We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest.

Changing settings does seem to make a difference. It even corrects itself into being way more explicit, probably even more loaded than it needs to be actually. Especially with a prompt as simple as

Every idea I have has always worked under the philosophy of maximum optimization, minimal footprint. I keep my prompts reasonable and minimalistic. >>
>>110057578
not really, Fable 5.1 is still better than Opus 5.5 on many areas. Opus 5.5 is still a smaller model even though it got more advanced training.

If you want the best of both worlds just use both Fable and Opus (ask them to discuss and agree before implementing stuff)

>(Gold Cartridge)
sniff some gold paint.

TLDR the only thing you can't get without a hacked cart is the 5 line reset of Tetris.

clanker gem flash 3.8 mildly edited:

Total: Roughly $30 to $40 for all three retail games combined.
Game genie is $20-$80
NES system: $125

Grand total $245

IF you want the 5 line reset...
>1. Cheaper Dumper Alternative (INLretro Programmer): $60 – $80
>2. You open a patching tool (like the web-based Hack64 Patcher or a desktop utility like Lunar IPS), point it to your clean dumped .nes file, select the .ips patch, and click "Apply."
>3. flash cart $160: https://everdrive.me/cartridges/everdrive-n8-pro-72pin/grey.html

$220 more, so...

Grand total $465

To me this is laughably cheap to attain the "grail" of gaming. Try achieving the "grail" of street car racing for <$500.

clanker:
What a Game Genie Can and Cannot Do
If you plug a Game Genie into the original retail cartridges, here is how close you can get:
• Super Mario Bros.:
◦ Lives: Supported. A code like AATOZE or YNKPTZGE gives you 9 or 99 lives.
◦ 50 Coins: You have to track this yourself. The Game Genie intercepts CPU reads from ROM, but cannot create a multi-condition hardware interrupt that halts the game when an in-memory coin counter hits 50.
• Rad Racer:
◦ Infinite Timer: Supported. Code SZUSUTVG or NYZINV freezes the countdown timer so you will never time out on Course 1.
• Tetris (NES):
◦ Start at Level 0: Supported natively by the game's menu.
◦ Advance every 5 lines: Not reliably possible with a standard Game Genie. In retail NES Tetris, the level transition math is deeply integrated with the start-level calculation (e.g., advancing at $(Level \times 10) + 10$ lines). A Game Genie can only substitute 3 ROM bytes simultaneously, which is not enough bytecode patching to rewrite the line-threshold routine and maintain score scaling.

just for the record, exoplasim isn't really made to model earth's climate anyway so saying we beat it is a bit disingenuous

Sloppered a game for the first time. Total 99 messages.

https://agdg-lad.itch.io/card-walker

Score attack map traversal game with playing cards.

You start with a hand of 3 cards + a joker.

You draw a card and must choose if you want to discard it or walk it. You earn points by walking on cards.

Walk rules:
>same suite + previous/next rank
>same rank + previous/next suite
>joker can walk to any card
ie A2 -> [A3, AA, B2, D2, joker]
ie joker -> [all cards]

The game ends once there is no more cards on the deck.

What's going on here? Did he get a massive offer from a competitor? Or was he trying to obtain the leverage necessary to do so? If he's intelligent and capable enough to be a lead engineer at OpenAI, would he really be doing this for money? It would have to be generational money to be worth the risk. Or is he a foreign agent? Or is this just more frontier lab gayops?
>>
>>110058919
I dont know how to explain past those "walk rules", once you play one time you learn fine. The game is actually slow and "strategic", but with simple rules.

According to the complaint, meetings in the executive conference room where Recording Device 1 was discovered frequently involved discussions of highly confidential technical, commercial, and strategic information, including proprietary research, product plans, and business-development opportunities, as well as nonpublic information about Open AI’s technical progress and strategic decisions, capabilities, priorities, government engagements, and commercial relationships.

You are aware that most emulator projects ban that shit so they don't get sued off the face of the planet, right? Unless it was publicly released, they don't want it.

Closest you get is finding glitches in their emulator and having AI trace that back to a fix.

You have access to $200 free api bucks. That means you can have like, an absurd number of haiku calls, like 40k or so.

I'm working on a dashboard, and as usual I always converge toward tiling WMs + insertable widgets for within the panes. A user can create a their own custom layout/view, but what I'm having trouble with is making a smooth UI for moving between views.

I think what would be best is a hierarchical / tree based navigation, but I haven't been able to figure out a UI I like. Here's an example with a popup menu for switching.
>>
>>110059752
real leftists love AI, those are just neolibs trannies who think they are left
>>
>>110059753
And here's what another view might look like for a 'market overview' or something. I use this to monitor my NAS and other services, so I'd think those would be in their own workspace/tree.

ask your clanker to show you a bunch of different mockups of different virtual desktop layouts and organizational methods

fair enough, I guess I'll just have to stew on it a bit longer. I think overall the 'tree of views' is the right way to do this though. it's purely the UI for navigating said tree that I'm not loving anything yet.

The last point I liked it was when it would just flatten the tree into a list that I could scroll through with alt+up/down to change views instantly. Might just go back to that for now.

Neoliberalism doesn't exist. It's just a made up leftist boogeyman "argument". It's their loaded term used to pretend that all of our problems today are caused by "capitalism" even though we're living in some of the most state controlled times in the past 150 years.

Fucking AI is terrible. I don't know how any of you use it for anything productive because outside of initial prototypes it can't fucking do anything.
>It lulls you in with good performance on small tasks
>you trust it a little bit more
>eventually you trust it to implement what you prompt
>check back
>the repo is raped
It just doesn't work to spec. Every single project is terrible with AI because it can't think and it NEVER considers what its putting into the project before it does it.
>making a small turn based rpg
>fine making turn trackers, little shops etc etc
>but it slams basically everything into a monolithic structure it can access anywhere rather than encapsulating anything
Its just so fucking shit. These are paid models and they're pure garbage.

>>
>>110060846
>I want it to behave in an x way

>>
>>110060846
it's nuts how many people don't see this, it can only greenfield specs it fundamentally can't do anything but slop it up

that said, your criticism is more aptly leveled against 'agentic workflows' then it is AI in general. You can for example, only use AI to highlight a function, send it to an LLM with a prompt (eg refactor this) and get something decent back 99/100.

passing all batons to the LLM is obviously dumb
>>
>>110060851
>AI built for programming
>doesn't come with enough defaults that make it not make everything static
Come on. Its flagrant false advertising on the AI companies end to say these LLMs are capable of anything grand. Basically this >>110060862. They're meant to be saving me time but I'm paying for the pleasure of rewriting some pajeet slop they scraped from somewhere.
For a single isolated task its good. For anything that requires considering 3-4 areas (that you tell it to consider) then it shits any old shit out and tells you its fine. Until you call it a big nigger, says it will start acting normal again and then shits itself further.
