Symphonium edition next?
>>
>>110063820
Maybe.
>>
What pisses me off about TWS the most is how SLOW the controls are. Play and volume buttons on my cable are instant. On TWS there's like a second of delay.
>>
>>110063724
>since my PC is just near me

What's gonna be your source, goofy? If you're plugging directly into your PC we're gonna have a problem.
>>
>>110063829
That was the plan... I-Is that supposed to be a bad thing? My motherboard has one of those gold plated jacks with good sound drivers or some shit that apparently improves audio. I do plan on buying an audio interface in the future
if this YouTube thing works out
.

Nigga will ask "what IEM" hisses with common sources >>110024450. All of them them nigga. Not hearing it says more about you than about IEMs.
>>
>buy apple USBC to 3.5mm adapter
OK no hiss at all, good volume on the American version. But HOLY FUCK WHY IS THE CABLE SO THING FUCK
I'm gonna accidentally tug on this shit and its gonna snap
>>
>>110063828
I always disable those controls. They piss me off. I just map the playback controls to the volume buttons of my phone. Since I always put mu phone top/down and screen against thigh on my left pocket, they are easy to reach.
>>
>>110063898
It's a meme shilled by retarded normhoids who know no better, and incompatible with many device, as most apploo creations. Buy something else.
>>
>>110063898
I've seen people wrapping it in shit to reinforce it. But that's too ghetto for me. I just get a better dongle. Unfortunately many dongles are far worse than Apple dongle.
>>
The only dongle I can wholeheartedly recommend to this day is jcally ap7. Its only downside is it doesn't support mic and volume buttons. But most people avoid mic cables anyway.

Tired of the hivemind? Here’s your prescribed sanity dose:

>Crinacle is not your priest.
Rankings are a guide, not divine scripture. Your ears > his spreadsheet.

>Harman and JM-1 ≠ perfect.
It’s a preference curve, not a law of physics. Some genres need deviation.

>Chi-Fi isn’t magic.
Great value, yes. Immune to QC issues and hype cycles? Nope.

>Graphs are not sound.
They don’t show staging, dynamics, or fit. Use your ears, not just squigs.

>BA ≠ metallic, DD ≠ perfect.
Implementation matters more than driver type. Always has.

>Meme sets aren’t the whole hobby.
If it’s not shilled 24/7, it might still be good. It's highly encouraged to form an original opinion.

>Disagreeing ≠ cope or deaf.
Let people like what they like without foaming at the mouth.

>Loud posts =/= smart takes.
Confidence without experience is just noise. Show graphs, impressions, or both.

>Cognitive dissonance.
When you're presented with a truth that threatens your entire perception of the world around you, your brain will simply refuse to process it.

This has been your scheduled break from pos groupthink.

Stupidass, you can't spoiler on /g/. What are you gonna spoil, stupid? This aint a movie. Your motherboard audio is trash plus the cable has to go all the way down. Read the OP and get one of those USB-C DACs. You'll need an extension cable though, stupid. An audio interface is used for instruments and XLR mics. You don't want that for audio. Unless it's a Motu, but still. You want a desktop DAC/AMP combo if you're cheap.
>>
>>110063984
Haven't tried those but if there's hiss, clicks on play/pause/disconnect, slow fade in after pause, Cirrus style glitches and noise from LTE activity I cannot recommend the DAC. Classic measurements have already been optimized, it's the details that matter.
>>
>>110064401

I decided to get the KBear KB01. I just found one for $25. I do wonder why the Kiwi Ears is far more expensive though if they're barely any different. Is Kiwi Ears a popular brand?

>Read the OP and get one of those USB-C DACs
I already have that apple dongle so I could use that.
>Unless it's a Motu, but still.
That's actually the audio interface that's on my wishlist because I heard they're very good. Pricey though.

Are there any replacement cables that actually have a decent sounding mic? I swear they're all garbage and the only good mics with IEMs are ones that are built in from the start.

I hate looking for new iems (getting a new pair). Will I like the sound? Will I prefer the shape and build quality? Will the cable mic sound just as good as my last one? Will my setup have to change because things are too different? I just get decision paralysis and stick to the same stuff I've been using for 8 years.

I’d instabuy fiio echo if it wasn’t for the encumbrance of managing lot of albums with physical buttons

I'm thinkin' chongs should try the wired DSP anc thing Bose did. Normies seem to really like the idea. I can kind of see the appeal too. I remember Xiaomi did one at some point. It's rare though. Not sure why the Tanchjims and Moondrops don't do it. Should be right up there alley

I just want something small to play some music while I go rollerskating but can't decide between the HiBY R1 and the Tempotec V1
People seem to say the V1 is better, but the firmware bugs and the fact that it doesn't seem as popular as the R1 has me a bit worried

...I'm also a little scared about accidentally falling onto my DAP and breaking it but I just hope that won't happen???

their reference hd6xx got btfo by any random $20 pos so there's nothing to talk about
>>
>>110069430
Do you need it specifically for the mic? If so, just get the apple earbuds, they have the best mic quality for the price. The mic that the cable you linked is likely going to sound like shit. If you want to replace your cable and don't care for the mic, then get another iem, like the gate or another chu, and use those cables instead since that costs just a few dollars more than buying a cable. Basically don't buy cables.
