I'm using them along with navigo (simple JS library for an SPA router). so far it seems like a nice way to have an SPA without the bloat of something like Angular.

I'm gonna start my project to train an AI model to beat the original Final Fantasy game using stable-retro without using any AI code. I'll be using a pirated rom so I'll need to set up my own reinforcement learning environment. We'll see how that goes.

this thread is for programming as opposed to vibe/AI coding (hence the name). we're not policing what people do with their own code, but start another thread if you wanna do that.

so... this is how to parse URL search parameters in C++
std::unordered_map<std::string_view, std::string_view> search_parameters;
size_t q_index = decoded_url.rfind('?');
if (q_index == std::string::npos)
return search_parameters;
const std::string_view search = std::string_view(decoded_url).substr(decoded_url.rfind('?')+1);
std::println("Search: \"{}\"", search);
for (const auto parameter : std::views::split(search, '&')) {
std::println("Parameter: {}", parameter);
const std::string_view parameter_view = std::string_view(parameter);
size_t equals_index = parameter_view.find('=');
if (equals_index != std::string::npos) {
const std::string_view key = parameter_view.substr(0, equals_index);
const std::string_view value = parameter_view.substr(equals_index+1);
std::println("{} :: {}", key, value);
search_parameters.emplace(key, value);
}
}
return search_parameters;

I worked in a little project. The idea was simple, a system to help a local library to do the gerencial part of your clients, me and my friend we used the PHP on back-end and the JS on fornt end, we had a good experience doing it.
>>
>>110106668
noice, is it lavarel or pure PHP?
>>
>>110109528
Pure PHP, we don't had a great motive to use Laravel, it's a little project and to a instituition. The Laravel it's good to creat big projects. And about freamework, i thought about it and little project need be simple and without much complexity. The point is simple, the modern programmer looks more to the the technology than the process and this is a problem to us, it's more important the process and how things really work than thecnology.

>>110110046
C++ compile times are an issue, especially since moving my project to modules away from header files reduced parallel compilation. However it's not a big blocker on productivity because I can do other things like frontend while it compiles in the background.

does anyone know of declarative programming languages that resemble natural languages? I've seen some that were essentially just English pseudo-code, but those were all imperative.

I'm working on a minesweeper clone in C using SDL3 (learning SDL3 at the same time) that will (hopefully) have all the features of a certain old minesweeper clone from Windows called "Minesweeper Clone 2007".

heres a cool pic of frieren holding the C bible I spent 3 hours of my life making in photoshop yesterday.

programming is really dead. grim.
>>
>>110119286
Well, most anons are in the other programming thread, but considering the lack of maids and vibeshitters in this thread, I'm staying right here.
>>
>>110119319
>lack of maids
Imagine choosing the gay furry thread instead of the heterosexual maid thread, couldn't be me
