What software are you hoping gets decompiled for Linux?
>>110117672photoshop
>>110117678You already got ArtCraft for that
>>110117682still kinda buggy. i still run cs6 trough wine.
>>110117513That is a man.
Friendly reminder to verify signatures for your isos/software.
>>110117808doesn't mean shit if the installer doesn't check itself for integrity after you boot the iso.
I've now followed the "how to clean Linux Mint safely" guide I saw recommended (at least the relevant parts), as well as tried other suggestions, yet my root filesystem is still full. There's just one old kernel, Timeshift has no backups, thumbnails, logs, fonts, and software packages are all gone. I think. The exception is a few gigs of flatpaks which won't delete but I don't think that's the real issue. The only advice I haven't followed was essentially "open disk usage analyzer and delete the junk", because I have no idea what can be deleted. How do I fix this? How do I prevent it filling up again?

>>110118055I couldn't figure out how to view the root in that program, but I guess it doesn't matter because I deleted a bunch of games from my old Windows folders and that somehow seems to have freed up 45 gigs of file system space. Or maybe something else did, I have no idea, but I can apply software updates again so I guess it's fixed.
>>110118009Flatpaks can be hugeOld logs can gather for yearsIf you didn't separate / and /home partition , it might be filling from that pointdu, df, or check out some gui option for disk usage
>>110118009how big is your root?
>>110118127>>110118147see>>110118114It fixed itself, somehow.
>>110118114Sounds like you did a single partition install, so every file you have is adding to the root /
>>110118186But then why does it say "file system free space 49 GB" when I've now got 750 GB free on the drive? Anyways like I said it doesn't really matter now. Hopefully it's never a problem again.
