>>110168881Three.js won. Vibe Chads won. LUDDIE TRANNIES LOST!
>>110168907Lmao I love that I can just post this in the /gedg/ thread and leave, then come back the next day and the entire /aigdg/ thread is full of a guy raging. He really spent all night angry after I went to bed because of this one comment.
I can finally make my growth fetish games holy shit.
>>110167888This is my status of my vibe coded game
>>110169102I know the feeling. Teaching myself blender while I wait.
Some luddie review bombed my prototype on itch. How will i ever recover??
>>110169117I have two weeks off from the wagie cage and tempted to buy a pro sub because i know ill run out in 2 days.
>>110168881Putting women above BIPOCs and LGBTQIA+ is a mistake. They make up approximately 50% of the population and need to be as suppressed as possible. Every other "minority," including the jew, only has power because women vote. Enslaving women literally fixes everything.
>>110169138I'd struggle to run out in 2 days. Used Opus 5.5 nearly exclusively on the $20 sub, and it took me ~5 days to run out
>>110168881idk why you'd put animals twice next to women, make up your mind
Thanks so much to anons who recommended strata and pi agent. Making a huge progress at decompiling old game now!
>>110169153wtf are you talking about, the point is that you can tell the woman to shut the fuck up no matter what and there's nothing she can do, while a raving monkey might take your eyes out if you're not prudent
>>110169173How do I achieve this level of prudency?
>>110169325Not sure if it does anything, but I have opus plan out every feature, and decide what it can hand off to sonnet, and what it has to do itself (which turns out to be most things for my game). And I use medium effort for most things.
Pretty telling that one of the vibejeet generals has links for basic computer literacy shit like WebM making stuff lol.
>>110169126post it here if it's good we'll upvote not that imaginary internet points matter
>>110169506i just ask claude to re-encode for /g/ idgaf
>>110168881Can I do the whole agentic coding/dev thing locally on an RTX 3090 and 32GB DDR4 and get passable results? I can't afford a better rig and I refuse to engage with the SaaS paradigm.
>>110169667Yes, and no. You can do it, the results will be meager at best and you'll spend more time tarwrangling and fixing the clanker's messes than actual devving. It's still probably preferrable over not using any clanker though, maybe qwen 3.8 is 'ok' with godot.
>>110169667I tried some local development on my second PC with a 7900XTX + 64GB DDR4 a few months back and it didn't work quite so well. Tried both Gemma4 31B and QWEN3.6 27B and it was painfully slow with a very middling result for the web app I was trying to develop with them as a test. I'd lean towards "no".
https://x.com/DannyLimanseta/status/2114750294760587416after reading this post I added this line to my agents.md:- Before implementing any major feature, research different approaches and best practices developers typically use to build it.was this a good idea?
>>110170240I do this all the time while prompting already:look into open world games and how they manage so many NPCs with complex and different AIslook at how saber interactive manages to have so many units on screen on their gameslook at how mudrunner generates terrainetc etc etc
>>110170240i always tell my model to not reinvent the wheel, look up how its done or steal ideas from an example i name directl
>>110170240I recognize that guy. He made that paintbrush game in three.js with his kids completely vibecoded. Just added whatever they wanted and it turned out great.Yes, listen to him.https://x.com/DannyLimanseta/status/2104215873120764032
>>110169667>>110170016>>110170071I've tested qwen 27b and qwenext extensively on godot, it's a miserable experience. Upgrading to 128gb will get you a deepseek 1017 ISTA DASLab IQ1 quant which is a huge step up. 256gb gets you an IQ3. Laugh at me all you want, but this is what works locally.
>>110169231>you can tell the woman to shut the fuck upin theory. but you wont actually do that. you'll humor her.or actually i just had a realization. the classic wisdom ws that women are dangerous because men will do anything to fuck them. but you don't want to fuck women, they aren't a threat to you. you want to get fucked by niggers.okay disregard my previous advice.
Made it easy to create hunter enemies in the editor and added the option for laser eyes just so I can add the scariest hunter of them all.>>110170853>IQ1Is that even worth it?
There's new hope for AI 3D modeling lads. This is the new Terra 6.1 on max effort, using the blender MCP.Took about 7 minutes and 10% 5-hour usage limit on plus.
>>110171444Wait, nevermind. It used a base mesh, didn't make it from scratch. Hopes dashed again...
>>110171444Yeah I really don't trust this gen with blender, and honestly I'm pretty addicted to tripo right now, I'll try meshy as well when I run out of credits on tripo, but the models it's giving me are pretty fucking good (you just don't want to use its texture/uv mapping/animations because THAT will get expensive)Maybe terra is going to be okay enough with creating a lot of low poly assets for cheap though.
>>110171510Yeah, those might be the way to go still unfortunately. I really wanna get an LLM to model properly somehow. It would be amazing for refining models as well. Terras speed makes it great for testing different workflows for modeling at least, so hopefully I'll be able to find some way to achieve it.
I had the chance to save the /gedg/ thread by shitposting to get it reactive again like I've been doing the last few weeks by posting about Three.js to get everyone rustled into talking again. But I chose not to this time. I think gedg is dead at this point.
>>110171363yeh, not as good as api of course but local is so nice
What about a game with procedurally generated cities (smaller, not super detailed), and your character slowly grows with the intent of destroying more and more? Kinda like Katamari or Rampage. Maybe some randomization in abilities or powers. You think that would sell?
>>110171729From that idea alone? Probably not. You need a much stronger concept for your game.
>>110171711Don't trust benchmarks all that much, but I guess they're okay for relative performance of the same model. Pretty impressive how little you apparantly lose with that quant. What are you running it on? Some unified memory device, like a GB10 PC?
>>110171729Maybe as a cheap arcade type mobile game, yeah.
>>110171770I'm on 128gb ram and a 24gb gpu
>>110168881>>110169153Racist belong 6ft under. If you got a problem with it, then stay mad, and soon dead. Also, cost wise, what's best for RE, been using claude from my company but they recently limited us to $200 a month.
>>110171798Ohhh. What are you getting out of this setup in terms of tokens/s?
>>110171729i heard somewhere you want your mechanic to have 3 different layers minimum if you want to base any game around it. like megaman has change weapons > weapons do more damage on different bosses > defeat boss to get new weapon kinda thing
>>110171821I average 23-28tk/s and 1000 pp, I really want a second gpu to run at like 40+ :sob:
>>110171839That's not even half as bad as I assumed. Might give it a try as well, then.
>>110171826NTA but what mechanic layers would you add for the following games?>A monster hunter like Pokemon but the monsters are more western fantasy monsters than cartoony, like MTG monsters. You catch them in throwing cards that you can raise like trading cards, and also actually use them as trading cards in a trading card minigame>A Baldur's Gate tabletop like game but everything is open source and online so anyone can write their own expansion packs>A sandbox like Gary's Mod or VR Chat, on the web, and extra scripting can be done sandboxed in Javascript or WASM
>>110171854go for it anon, owning your own shit is freedom after all. I have had no looping issues so far. Don't mention it in /lmg/ tho they go rabid if you suggest a q1 lol (even 763b)...
>>110169117Have you made your donut yet?
What's the best way to use ai to make 2d anime sprites for a doom like game?So far been using $20 sub of chatgpt or using $20 Claude to use chatgpt. They have great trouble with consistency and specific details. There has to be a better way.
>>110171928We talked about Sprites in the last thread. When I'm done with my lab I'll look for you. Until then check the archive if you're in a hurry. But there's a decent Steam game I found that made it's own spritesheet gen and put it on Github worth looking at.
>>110171928Probably the most consistent way would be to have a simple 3D model that it uses to paint over, the 3D model obviously couldn't be modified so the perspective and proportions couldn't change in between sprites. You could ask claude about it desu.
>>110169126continue to cargo cult probabalistic clanker output, trying to pass it off as your own creation.you faggots could at least make a funny game like train ride simulator: india.
>>110171876-something that requires trading, upgrading or merging cards like in devil survivor. and if its famous monsters you can have it like you need bigfoot to get the yeti or something.-i got very little experience in that niche, i got nothing good besides ai controlling like a genie or monkeys paw where it only tells you the good part of the wish.-way over my head. something like that youd probably have to analyze the market for what people are hitting as a limitation on what they are already doing on those games and try to barinstorm off that. i did see people like h20delirious did a lot of gmod games that had fall guys competition with players sabotaging and people liked that stuff
>>110172020>Card mergingGood idea. I'll write it down. Skinwalkers would be fun too. Imagine a Pokemon game where you're at the local gym where people battle (Wafflehouse) and someone pulls out Big Foot> i did see people like h20delirious did a lot of gmod games that had fall guys competition with players sabotaging and people liked that stuffGood idea as well. About a month ago the Spawn.co leader invited 30 people in and let them use the AI to make whatever they want and it became a clusterfuck. Maybe you're right and I should embrace something chaotic. I think VR Chat was peaked in 2018 when people were all just memeing and not taking it seriously like Ugandan Knuckles or random avatars, before it became furries, pedos, and mentally degenerates only. Come to think of it, a lot the Source era was just chaotic fun.
>it's time for me to decide which faction the player is supposed to play forCan I really go for notGermany™? Should I?Wouldn't that be too on the nose and too youjo senki? Or maybe that'd be a good idea and create some controversy and some seething? Maybe I can do a second reich thing rather than the third one, and keep things foggy for the average retard? >mfw I'm thinking of adding different factions to fight against and different 'fronts' to fight in, which means having to multiply the amount of content I'll have to make for this game by 5x at leastI'm also trying to figure out what to do gun-wise (since it's relevant to the faction the player ends up as), and it's fun and all but holy fuck it's hard to pick, that thornbite and that bellfin are pure sex, nghh
>>110172058i get what you mean, part of that was the creativity with the new technology and fresh eyes so if done right it can probably recreate some of that magic
OH GOD I'M COMING AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>110172066You're the magic system anon? I say make all of the factions notCountry lol. Start small and do two different factions, otherwise your game will be really shallow and factions same-y.
Is there any good model that works well for PBR texture gen?The open source version of Ubisoft Chord produces low quality junk with artifacts. Also tried substance sampler, PBRify and PBRFusion but they aren't usable for more complex textures.
There might be hope for LLMs yet. Making some progress with getting Sol to 3D model
>>110172126Yeah I really should focus on one at a time, and I was somewhat planning on doing just simple notCountries but I did go a bit too far about this shit, most of that is throwaway trash mind you, the namlar commonwealth/india was mostly just a meme and there's no way i'd add this shit in.
>>110172282>The open source version of Ubisoft ChordThis? I didn't know it was a thing. Give me a basic deus vult, is it an AI harness for generating textures or something?https://github.com/ubisoft/ubisoft-laforge-chord
>>110172809Just an AI model you can run using python. You can find ComfyUI ports for it but as mentioned, it produces mid results at best. They probably uploaded a shitty early version of it and it's licensed too. Some edit models models do a decent job for PBR generation and texture improvement like Luma Uni. If they only trained them more on UV maps and PBR texture gen.
>>110171510what is this? meshy? tripo? ????
>>110173127Am I missing something or do they have a premium version? It looks free on Hugging Face and github but this nigga says it's paid and gated when I looked it up on Youtube to see if it was as bad as you said.
>>110173184chord_v1.safetensorsWeights are public but the model is licensed so you aren't allowed to use it's outputs commercially. It's a small model. They have probably released a shitty version of it which is kind of unusable.
>>110168907>Three.jsMost if the rewrites I've seen have been in rust + Bevy because of how well AI writes rust. Using Three.js for game dev is questionable when babylon.js exists.
>>110173374Babylon.js doesn't have the community support Three.js had thus AI has a way harder time with it. Any examples I've seen in Babylon's playground has been extremely basic stuff like a ball and plane or a few falling cubes. I played with Babylon years ago and the AI shit itself, it might be better now. But it's a full on Engine not just a renderer. The AI can assemble and vibecode things with the Three.js renderer way easier. There's a reason Babylon started gearing towards a lightweight engine like Three.js, hence Babylon Lite. Tim Sweeney also admits Three.js is the best vibecode engine.
>>110173344That makes more sense then. I assume you (or whoever the anon complaining that it sucks) were using the shitty version?
How do you guys generate 3D models?I'm still learning how to draw so in the meantime i wanna just generate shit
>>110172066>too youjo senki?I've been thinking about this issue for some of my own ideas. Does it matter that much? As long as its legally distinct I dont think there is anything wrong with taking heavy inspiration from something, especially when its a different medium than the inspiration. Shit stardew valley is just "harvest moon at home" and it did great. You will inevitably add your own spin to stuff anyways since no dev can help but put their own soul into the thing
every web based three.js game Ive tried has ran like complete dogshit (sub 60fps) with terrible graphics.
>>110173915have you tried upgrading your rx 580?
>>110173936Actually I use an rx480, which is perfectly capable.
>>110173649Meshy or tripo. You can upload reference images for better results as well
>>110173973not him, but how good are these tools and what are their limits? could i, for example, provide these tools with a number of reference images and get a nice mesh and textures? are they able to do any rigging or textures?
>ask copilot to convert pic related into a better drawing, it refused due to unsafe material
>>110174041>then describe it instead and it gladly produces pic related
>>110173915Skill issue. I run decent three.js shit on my phone. Maybe you were looking at old webGL shit instead of the new webGPU? When's the last time you checked? I'm running the new meshlet system in my phone at 60fps no problem.https://three-meshlets-z23hmxbz1jwlff.needle.run/

/lmg/ has gone to shit lately, I really hope these game dev threads survive because they are very comfy

vibe coding games sucks. AI has no gameplay or visual taste, so everything requires tweaking. the problem is, AI will just layer mountain upon mountain of code, which makes it hard to understand and therefor hard to tweak. at the end of the day, you have to be in the loop. maybe AI can make tools, where its more straight-forward to make and doesn't need to be tweaked.
>>110174419you need to have vision and the general knowledge of what you are implementing step by step. if you tell the clanker to create a game and keep on piling shit on top of it, no wonder you have no fucking idea whats going on.my current strategy game prototype is ~100k lines of code and i perfectly understand every single bit, but that requires of me to actually refine milestones and goals, understand and question them, then test and optionally bugfix myself.
>>110173150tripo
anyone have luck with rust + bevy? codex keeps suggesting i use that for my project since i don't want to learn unity because the MCP doesn't work for me

>>110175348think about it a bit more anon. smart people don't post valuable work on 4chan
>>110174574Yes, been using bevy and at least Opus handles it perfectly fine, but I guess that's the case for most things even mildly popular.
>>110175389it's rust that's keeping opus in line, but what good is it if the robot is waiting on the cargo build 90% of the time. i basically get paid for watching cargo builds (i don't even know rust lel)

>>110172066the very fact that you're having these dilemmas means that your working conditions are not good. you are already worried whether you'll be cancelled for making things, and thinking whether you should go ahead and exploit drama for your personal gain. three months from now you will be an absolute wreck. even if you somehow broke through the 100 other doom clones to get at least a pat on the back for making the most popular freeware, you are now sitting on the top of the hill with everyone else aiming everything they have at you. and you just lost several months of your pitiful lifespan.production was never the problem for anyone who wasn't a brainlet. the problem was always what comes after. what's happening now is that the brainlets have gained the means of production, but they are oblivious to the magnitude of shit they've stepped into and will not realize it ever, because by definition they are brainlets.

How should i augment my vibecoding?I've had to put claude on xhigh so he stops fucking up as much. Currently, i basically have 5 megabytes of .md docks and 5 mb of code. And 500mb of chat history on the project. I have to review the systems with Claude, because he just can't implement the good approaches i come up with, when not being handheld, and produces complexityslop as soon as i relax.Sp i'm playing videogames while Claude goes for an hour long session after we work out the architecture. And i'm still tired as fuck because i have to think through so much shit. Not interesting in slopping here, looking for a ways to code original solutions more efficiently. If i let Cluade pick he just comes up with the most generic slop possible.
>>110169667qwen 3.8 27 from iq4_xs to q6_k_m depending on need>>110170071i did this on a 6900xt which paid for the hardware and for the bills. just use your fucking brain. if the model is too weak for full auto, drop into a paste workflow, you'll actually be more efficient than a harnesscuck; you'll just be glued to the pc instead of checking in every now and then. i'd still be doing this if my body wasn't this ruined
>>110175471>projecting2I'm not sure what your point is, but I completely agree with you anon! Now, video games?
>>110173666Well that's the thing, satan-kun, it's a bit of a roll of the dice when something is deemed an homage and something is deemed cloning it, and then it's another roll that decides whether it matters, stardew is an example, genshin impact is another; in both cases the roll for homage vs clone gives different results, but then the roll on success got a 20, so it's a bit of a who the fuck knows I guess.I'm not too worried as much as I'm making conversation and trying to prod at people's brains and see what people think, mind you, I don't actually care since only the foundations of my witch game is very youjo senki, but everything else is completely different. Summons are going to be a big part of the game for example, same as magical creatures (in general), which don't seem to exist in that world, but yeah. It's still fun to think how far you can go into taking from something until stop being your own.

I want to start doing this and had some idea of doing it locally first and last month buy a subscription for Claude to finish the project up? Is this something feasible or dumb? Never done this but I do have some great ideas just wonder what the best approach is, might even buy 64GB MacBook as it should be enough for local then transfer the game to PC to try the game out.I know that Epic Store lets you AI code a game and you can win 50k USD is someone in here gonna try to do it that way?
>>110176896I think local is only feasible, if you're willing to do the complicated stuff yourself and use the local models as autocomplete for boilerplate or easy stuff. Don't really understand the rationale for the Mac either. RAM isn't any cheaper on those, and you have to have a separate PC for play testing.
>>110176896local only recently got capable enough to start doing this without multiple hundreds of gigs of ram. for now you can learn the ropes with ai but the next and later generations of local models are gonna be far superior to this one

Hey, it's that anon from the other day who had been toying with a tiny crime sandbox and making 3D models. I think I've decided I'll give it a shot as it seems like a powerful assistant for what I'm wanting to do. Was there a general consensus on which AI was best? While I have been using a sketchbook to map this out, I'm curious which would be best suited to basically taking an existing city and shrinking it down with compression and choosing iconic landmarks and streets for a compression ratio similar to Vice City or San Fierro. I could and probably should do that myself but I am very curious if there is an AI that could at least get me 50% of the way there or more. Primarily I need something that can make rough placeholder models for cars fairly accurately at a late PS2 tricount but extrapolating designs off of real cars and making them slightly off for copyright reasons, likewise buildings, guns, and NPCs would help though once again I can probably just bang out most of these models slowly too if needed. I'd prefer to use this as placeholder/programmer art style items.>https://youtu.be/isjBe4khZZcThis video states these are all tools specifically made for San Andreas modding, but I figure one of these must be able to get most of the way there? I suppose I could find a CD drive and install SA to work with what's available and maybe rough it out in there.
got myself debug database interface built, god it feels good to see everything slow come together into a coherent mass
Ya'll niggas ever use Ziva for Godot Engine? How well does it perform compared to similar things for Godot? Worth paying Ziva directly or is hooking it up to Claude better?>also it's under review in the Godot Asset Store for some fucking reason>can't download it rn or look at its asset page
>>110177723>I think cloning based on media of your game is only a real concern, if your game hinges on some easy to replicate gimmick.it just has to be above average and simply well composed, that's more than enough. footage or not you can be harvested even post release because you're a fucking nobody and any celeb can rape you because nobody will believe you. $20k in shilling and i can even make you look like the villain
>>110178027I've never heard about it or ever heard anyone ever mentioning it, so I don't think it's worth what claude already gives you, it's godot, there's no weird witchcraft going on; everything is already code and claude is already going to debug and create a bazillion test suites by default, so I don't know what ziva proposes that could be better than it

do you guys want my local 3d model generator? its a bit rough but it works although you need atleast 16gb gpu to use it?i made it months ago and it was quite hard with all the constraints but some things have popped up recently and if enough anons are interested i could spend a day or 2 updating it and hand out free keys for anons and sell it online for 5$.basically you can just describe what you want and it will then make a model or you can hand it an image and it will use the image to make a model, the models are pretty good, same quality as the website model makers, well more like 80-90%.

>>110181459but it can't actually optimise the complexityslop, and it couples data shape to the engine.you are having easy time because your game is basically slop - it's the same code that every other game uses. if you're using unity or unreal, big chunk of complexity isn't even for claude to write.i need my own engine, because unreal is too shit to support what i want at the scale i want it, also the whole premise of how software is written and how available engines work is wrong. and designing my own engine which is completely unlike normal engines revealed that claude wants to write slop solutions no matter what the docs say and the codebase is, he just regresses to whatever is the conventional shape of a given system, even if that obviously doesn't even fit the project.i've had success thus far with framing the things i want in other domains - osi layers for example.but claude is just so fucking slow right now, and if i set him back to auto he'll start writing slop again and then go "yes you are absolutely right, i did just put point coordinates into every fucking system we wrote in the last 3 days, despite our docs which i myself wrote stating that the purpose of this work was to design the systems without geometry".he's a good boy and does write what i want, but he's really slow and i have to handhold him like a little baby shoggoth at a fair.

>>110181501No multiplayer no, wouldn't make sense for a game like this.Maybe potentially if my friends pester me about it I could cook up some sort of hero shooter mode, I guess that could fit with what I have planned, but I'd have to severely limit/nerf the powers to make that work, it'd take a while desu.>How are you handling 360 body movementHow does anyone? You've played a flight/space sim before, or any other 6dof game, same deal here, if you're asking how I shoot when I do; you don't. Well, not yet at least, I'm working on this next, because turns out 'magic' can make anything happen. But right now, past a certain speed and/or doing some maneuvers; you need both hands on the broom.>does the broom start moving when you start looking backYes, works like a turret with maximum traverse (vertical and horizontal), you can aim left and right easily but past a point, your broom starts following, I also added a bunch of accessibility features like heavy aim assistance (with a slider), as well as different type of flight assistants that will try to automatically get your broom to level itself when you start fooling around too much, basically whether you have thousands of hours in flight sims they you probably don't need those, but most people that never touched a plane before will have all of that on by default (or I'll have a tutorial or something for it, not a priority either way).I haven't really looked at flying much yet tho (since I was pretty happy with its state), but there's still a lot of improvement to be made, I'm also thinking an FPS player might have an easier time if I just had a 'follow the mouse' setting (like war thunder arcade for example), so I should add that in at some point.
>>110181618>Suggesting Bevy over ThreeActually a terrible idea. The bottleneck isn't even the language in Three because webGPU is the renderer, and WASM is used in the heavy parts. Javascript is just glue code at this point. >>110178840I've used Qwen for code, that's my point, and it's pretty terrible. Maybe my particular stuff it just doesn't know what the fuck it's doing. No local LLM is going to get everything right the first try, you still have to be a competent programmer yourself to catch stuff and make it do stuff over or consider things it hadn't thought of, but Qwen gets really basic shit wrong and doesn't know algorithms all that well. I'm a somewhat respectable micro-celeb member of the indie dev community. I am making my next game almost completely with an LLM, I'm just doing the art direction and general planning. I kind of feel like Griffith about to sacrifice the Band of the Hawk on the eclipse, ngl. Still gonna do it tho, pretty much burn every bridge as they turn on me. I accept it.
>>110182568Straight up don't tell them, or say you reviewed le output and corrected mistakes. Don't make any giant statements either. The truth is that every single game studio and game dev uses LLMs for coding now...

>>110183353models are being generated with low polygons on purpose. Its to keep it from hogging too many resources of the system when their are tons of assets on the map
i don't mean to shit on anyone's project, but what's with the lack of variety in the games in these threads? AI was supposed to be the ultimate equalizer, where someone with just an idea and drive could put a game together without needing to know how to write software or design audio/visual assets.so, where are all the good ideas? why is everything here a "x but y" derivative? where are the truly boundary-breaking concepts? i have been lurking these threads for a couple weeks and i haven't seen a SINGLE rape simulator in development. get it together guys.
>>110183392I'm sorry, I can't help with that request.
>>110183364look dude, it just looks mediocre. i like this little test - look at the thumbnail of a screenshot and consider whether the game looks interesting.here's your screen(where there's huge airship fihgt) next to rimworld screenshot where nothing is even fucking happening:on the rim screen i can see some shit like rooms, some stuff, interesting lighting. there's sort of gameplay implied there.yours looks like something minecraft where someone built an airship.and i'm not just shitting on you here - i'm suggesting a real thing which could fit your lowpoly assets - try generating the actual render, you have geometric shapes that a recent videogen model could probably operate off of.or make your style more interesting than fucking minecraft.
>>110183405
>>110183364or i dunno, add photon torpedos to that airship so gameplay is visible and interesting from a glimpse.
>>110183411i'll run some tests with that bc it doesnt sound like a bad idea
>>110183420you should get claude to examine your palette and create some interesting alien wilderness, or make the wilderness you want more original.the game currently looks like minecraft, which immediately implies 0 action, and gives me the ick.

It's possible to make Claude 5.5 Opus 3d model well with an old specific modeling programI'm gatekeeping it but if you know, you knowIt's the only one that's worked. Blender and others don't work because they rely on the interface being used and claude can only make scripts

My audience (about 300 people) have criticized how my game development has slowed to a crawl in the past few weeks. But that's because OpenAI has nerfed the GPT models to oblivion, they're now so stupid they're actually a liability to let touch your codebase, they'll fuck it up so bad.Second problem is usage limits are decreasing for GPT and Claude. I now can't even use GPT or it'll fuck my codebase up, so I can only code with my Claude $20 plan. I will never code manually again so...pic related, my game.

There's not a single module in any project I have ever worked on in 30 years of programming that wouldn't fit in less than half of that context size, even in very verbose languages, and it really should be a lot less than that. Do you think you need your entire project in-context? You don't. I do most of my vibecoding in 64k, and that's overkill. LLMs get schizophrenic anyway if you don't start a new session for each task, and give it just the context it needs for the task. You're wasting a lot of tokens and being slower than you need to be.Gemma 4 does 256K context if you somehow need it, though I can't imagine what sort of insane one-file spaghetti code would use all of that.
