Ordered the TRN black pearl last week and it arrived today, got around to plugging them in after work and it seems to work just fine with my phone but after plugging it into my PC the first thing I noticed was that the windows audio test cuts off the first tone in each channel. I then found out that it also occurs when opening video/audio files and is very easy to notice with songs that play a distinct note in the first frame. It only happens on fresh openings and not when I rewind to the first note.
I'm a little worried that the DAC is damaged, though I can't see any apparent damage on it or the packaging. I've never owned one so I'm not sure what to make of it. I tried using another USB C to C cable and an older USB 3 to C cable and it's still happening. I'm on Windows 10.

What are the best DEEP INSERTION IEMs?
Should I get Etymotic ER2XRs, YU9 U-556, or YU9 404?
