What the hell is OpenAI doing here. What is their end-goal? Their models are crap. Yeah Dipsy doesn't reach the raw intelligence of the latest Sol, but it performs better anyway since it's way, way more pro-active.

how do you people "vibe code"? Do you actually download and install a bunch of programs to connect to the APIs or use local models or do you just type what you want claude to do into the web interface? and do you feel like the way (you) do things is how most people do it?

You really want to download the desktop client of your provider of choice (Claude/OpenAI) and then you can just work from there. It's important for giving it folder access and other permissions for doing shit on your PC.

You also don't need to "install a bunch of programs," one will do.

I meant install a bunch of programs in the sense that each platform has their own client I'm assuming, plus text editor extensions and other kinds of "hooks". I'm assuming vibe coders are constantly swapping platforms to what has the best performance/cost/hype.

>>
>>110228188
Oh, not really. Once you get entrenched in a certain ecosystem it's unpleasant to leave. That said, even someone trend-chasing will only end up alternating between Claude and GPT so you would only need two.

I never use a text editor (well, beside some notepad for drafting prompts). The AI does all the coding. You don't really need to mess with the text yourself.

I have my own agent control plane (think like T3 Code but only the set of features I need). What it does it drives a harness of my choice and provides a unified interface for all of them with other conveniences.

So all I'm downloading is the harnesses and they all slot into my program.

Can I get some people's opinion on how I'm learning coding/my first big coding project? I've been learning C for a while now and my first "big" project is gonna be essentially FFXIV but classic FF Active Time Battle format. I am planning out the project and I feel confident I can do a simple 2D version (For a demo it would be some famous bosses from FFXIV and a 4-8 man party, all the classes from FFXIV and their abilities).

Why I'm asking here is I want to eventually make a 3D version atop the underlying 2D version, so the 3D ATB games, FF7 classic onwards to FF13. The 3D version would let you take your character model from FFXIV (there are plugins that do this already) and import it into my project and you can fight something like Kefka or Perfect Alexander but in a turn based styled game. I'm not experienced at all with coding 3D graphics and was planning to use 6.1 sol to achieve the 3D side of the project. Gameplay wise I am gonna have some things to make it more unique than just a ATB clone (positionals, resolving raid mechanics, etc.)
>>
>>110228335
> I've been learning C for a while now and my first "big" project is gonna be essentially FFXIV
what the actual fuck are you doing. no game dev is making games in raw C. Use Unity/Unreal and have your agent assist you. Programming those games is trivially easy. The biggest challenge is the art assets.
>>
>>110227649
>>110227757
Eventually they'll be able to use user logs to train them on more accurate time estimates.

>>110228386
I have a working prototype in Godot atm that's pretty shit, should I stick with godot or swap to unity then if I am planning to utilize 3D assets?
>>
>>110228188
>I'm assuming vibe coders are constantly swapping platforms to what has the best performance/cost/hype.
There’s certainly a lot of that. I prefer the Claude code CLI + IDE because I still read/edit the code. (I’ll get flamed for that not being vibecoding btw)

too autistic and anal. it ends up going in circles over stuff I didn't ask it to
it's not outright schizo on meth like 5.0, but for the way I use them (small, defined tasks followed by reviews) 4.8 is a much better fit
>>
>>110228420
C is for programming hardware. It's really bad fit for writing games and don't listen to any deranged troon trying to tell you otherwise. You only use C if you absolutely have to (you don't). Just ask Claude.
>>
>>110228538

almost forgot the most important reason: 4.8 is way better at stopping and consulting me when the rules/plan and implementation diverges. 5.5 just does whatever it wants and (sometimes) ask for forgiveness later

Can't really answer that technically since I only used Godot for small 2D toy projects, but I suspect you'll be fine with either of them. Way bigger projects were already launched on both engines, so toss a coin and don't look back.

I hate AI in general because it makes my work boring, but I can't help by notice how instantaneously and efficiently it nuked all trannies and lefties from the tech, forever. Any painstakingly built influence, gone, literally over night. We no longer need their shitty rust rewrites. No more codes of conduct forced on open source projects. In fact no more open source at all. No more "femboy exploit writers", since fable can just one shot it anyway. No more game mods with forced tranny themes. I can just rip out their work, get C version of anything remotely worthwhile done in rust, make any mod literally HItler-approved and there's NOTHING trannies can do, except for seething.

That's still 92% of rust programmers not being trans. Isn't it kind of losing to the trans community by completely giving up and associating a programming language with them being a small portion of the total community is them? One would think the way forward there would be involving more straight people into it so that the tranny percentage goes down, or otherwise booting them from it, rather than immediately capitulating and running from it.

luna is pretty good if you know what you're doing - it's not great at making great decisions but it sure can fix shit and implement things if you prompt it detailed enough.

Give me a prompt which will keep the thing going and cause it to make something

> LLMs can natively read & write neural network weights
https://rikiyat.github.io/blog/weight-space-programming/

>We find that frontier LLMs are surprisingly good at natively reading and writing neural network weights

>Just by looking at the raw weights, GPT-6 Astra can tell what a network was trained to do. And without any environment feedback, it has no trouble writing, from scratch, small game-playing networks that outplay networks trained with PPO for 100 million steps.

>Likewise, asked to make Qwen3.5-0.8B better at math without gradients, Astra identifies an issue in its weights causing reasoning loops that Qwen’s own model card warns about, and fixes this by natively editing 0.016% of the weights. With the same sampling settings, this weight correction raises MATH-500 from 7.9% to 48.1% and generalizes out of the box to instruction following, raising IFEval by 3x.

To get RSI you just ask the model to make the weights of the next model.

Wtf. My guess is that it's visualizing some 100D manifold transformation between the layers. The human brain can't see over 3D but AI probably doesn't have that limitation.

Codex is only producing dogshit, something is wrong.
I told it to make a game and it made a really bad one.

Theres so many games now i doubt the games industry is even profitable anymore. Crazy how theres been meme genre surges tok anomaly games, supermarket sims, incrementals, cleanup one gets big and then theres like 50 copycats not even a week later. Also now that theyve decompiled some games i think even AAA games are going to lose all their profits.

I feel like we are being A/B tested on.

Some days Sol one shots things while adding cool features I didn’t even think of.

Other times it just forgets half of my absolute do nots I gave and outputs complete shit on top.

I'm reporting back from
>>110227730
I indeed was able to use my entire ultra weekly within 3 hours. I just told Claude Code to balance background tasks fable/opus selection for max usage and then let it rip in max ultracode. had like 15 background workflows simultaneously with mostly 5-20 agents, and one background workflow with 330 agents (lol). Now I went over the work it did and realize the quality is similar or even better compared the think-before-prompting snailvibing I usually do. Instead of making decisions before building it just built every possible option simultaneously and did tests/decisions on the fly. Obviously this isnt feasable for normal use due extensive token usage, but it really is something you have to witness to comprehend the true powerlevel of current SOTA models if compute weren't a bottleneck. Especially the speed factor. Imagine jev but with Opus5.5 inside, that's what it felt like.

speak for yourself, i think building useful stuff is fun. Why not just admit all you wanted was to toil with puzzles? you can still do that btw, go buy pic related. the rest of us will be doing stuff that matters. inb4
>hurrr you’re a vibecoder not a real programmer
I’ve worked as both SWE and sys admin since 2014, frontend, backend, db/cloud admin, devops: LLMs are eradicating all of the most obnoxious parts of working with computer systems and the pushback against that is utterly baffling

>What they discovered is that the brain is full of multi-dimensional geometrical structures operating in as many as 11 dimensions.
I'm talking about visualization retard-kun. I'm pretty sure it's because grid cells can't represent things over 3D or something. AI has nothing analogous to that
>>
Honestly snailschizo, you claim your project does literally everything, first it was ARC-AGI, then it was drones, then it was oil wells, then cancer, now apparently writing weights from scratch, yet the reality is you've done none of these things, you have a repo full of literal word salad that does literally nothing
>>110230062
Your snailslop doesn't do that though, and the weight space programming describes a model writing weights, it does not "builds stripped-down neural algorithm"
>>
>>110230077
you can easily visualize things over 3D but your brain has a blocking function that keeps you sane and sober
>>
>>110230084

the vision system works

this thesis works

objectively, this works

never said that
>yet the reality is you've done none of these things, you have a repo full of literal word salad that does literally nothing
unfortunately, you can't control reality and will never be able to control reality, sperglord.
