The image's construction is basic and does not invoke any emotion or tell a story. The overlays and filters make it a bit less appealing. If your trying to convey nostalgia, I'd suggest using real hardware and playing with it.Check out some local garage sales and thrift shops. CRT TV's are a lot more common then you might think. There's a ton of cool circuit bending you can do to make your work shine. Pick a focal point, then use your camera to capture a unique angle. It could be a large tree, a jagged stump or a patch of reeds. But give the viewer something to process while absorbing the whole image.
Its currently my lock screen on my pc the short of it is I like swamp vaporwave, and orange, blueish purple. all i did was invert the color, ad a noise filter and some distortion, I also touched up some of the more pixelated areas with the smudge brush, who work took about twenty minutes, but its from a place that I loved as a kid. so its more of a me thing
