In case you weren't aware, submissions are open for a little under 3 more days for this logo design contest! (2 days, 23 hours from this post, more or less.) Once all the designs are in, ranked-choice vote decides the main graphical element for the next 4chan inter-board CPU soccer cup!(Yes this is the 2023 Autumn design; it's coincidentally being hosted by /co/ again, so cartoon and comic inspired designs are not necessary, but will probably do well. That and 2024 Autumn was hosted by the pony board and I don't wanna risk breaking containment.)Per the organizer: you must supply a high-res PNG file (5000x5000 limit) and the original multi-layer source file. Yeah the number of candidate designs ebbs and flows... but man this was a pretty paltry crop. I mean the Looney Tunes one/D was recycled from '23 with the year updated, too! (C won, by the way.)In any case: we're signed up, I got the exports up, we should be good to go. We gotta get through a 4-team qualifier because some other boards' teams that ranked under us bit it (RIP for now /x/) so those matches will be this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 5PM UTC. Well, it's down to this: we're hoping on a miracle against the horses with personalized logos on their asses, and a tie isn't enough. Game setup is now, kickoff shortly.(If this is the end of the cup for us, I'm considering bowing out. The team deserves a real manager, with tactics and new Kernings to enjoy. Even if I say keeping the lights on is "better than nothing" that might not actually be true. It's up to you: carry on, or hibernate again?)
