what do you do if you're good at editing stuff but you don't have any ideas?if someone tells me to do something specific I almost always know how to achieve whatever effect they want but whenever I try to compose an image by myself without anyone requesting anything of me I feel like all of the creativity has been sapped out of me and I can't even compose a simple image

>>463342I'm pretty much the same. What works for me is starting to work on something that I personally like, and don't think about commercial appeal at all. There has to be something that you really enjoy: anime, video games, movies, whatever. Even if it's clichee or weird, just try to make something you personally think it's cool.Once the ball starts rolling with that project, it's easier to work on other projects as well
