parody should keep the creator legal fine..but it's an affirmative defense, meaning you would have to prove it in court if sued. Now if you deepfake existing property and try to pass it off as your own/new work, you could be sued by the original artist/owner. Whether grok/twitter could be held liable is an interesting thing to watch. On one hand, can you sue (and win) the pencil company if someone traces your work and passes it off as their own? Obviously they would lose. But grok doing the 'tracing' for you, and judges being boomer computer illiterate fucks? one bad ruling at a higher level could set a precedent.
