any webdevs in here had noticable results from editing the requests/cookies/etc ?

I've been looking into the request params and I am able to change some values that effect the response from the model, but desu I'm not sure it's having any effect in what i actually see in my gens, or the moderation.

I know if you submit a new video request it automatically appends --mode=custom to the prompt, but you can override that easily (to 'extremely-crazy-or-spicy' etc).

There are also some cookies stored for things like xai_employee (=false, obviously) but they can also be overwritten. I don't know enough about next.js to know if my amends will have any effect or whether they are just responses from the auth/user API on the server side.

some things I've tried are xai_employee=true, x_employee=true, setting the models to is_mature=true, and model_generated_only=false

does this do anything?

Not sure what you're asking but for the best workflow it's to start with t2i and edit the image as i2i. Because there are way too many variables for t2v, and a lot of those variables end up ruining what you're trying to do.

Also I believe that at a certain point a seed is locked in as "appropriate for genning". Meaning you can fuck around and somehow get a nude image from t2i and grok is locked in with data that states this image is "safe" and should not be moderated which means you can edit it further. Even before the January censorship, there would be some images that would allow nipple pasties and some that wouldn't. And the ones that would allow nipple pasties eventually allowed full on nude breasts.

So work with images. They're faster and more accurate to work with and you can make a lot do them before you hit a cap. It's good to have your base image down so you don't waste a video gen. Like let's say you want the woman holding a dildo. Well there's a higher chance that Grok will generate that as an image than as a video.

One problem I'm noticing is that it subtly changes the faces of the person when you turn it into a video, I assume to prevent exact likeness. Ver noticeable with tons of movement.

And it doesn't do this when it's just a random grok-generated woman.

Stopped at 99percent but returned to business for a little while, and I mean sloppy error business. I usually use a VPN on grok then turn off afterward the gen.
