So I have an AMD card (6800 xt with 16gb of Vram and I 32gb of ram) and got Comfyui + Zluda up and running. Every time I try to generate a video or an image it just freezes at the prompt screen with 0% and doesn't progress and no movement in the console. I looked online and it does that when you don't have enough ram, but I do. Currently just trying to generate an image to get the hang of that first, but it still freezes. Even lowered it to 512x512. I'm new to all this and dumb, but trying to learn a little at a time. I use the pre-built nodes that come with my Comfyui+Zluda, but I'm completely lost. Any advice on how I can fix this?

>>30641896There are several things you can do to free up some VRAM. First, the text encoder (the 'CLIP') does not need to be loaded into VRAM at all, but is done that way by default. It's a pretty big chunk of your total VRAM and it's completely unnecessary. Changing the default behavior is not difficult and (using the CPU to process the text instead) frees up a lot of VRAM. Second, I think that there may be other models that are better for a 16GB card. Look for 'quantized' models and models designed to run on your hardware. Perhaps you download the wrong version.It's absolutely possible to generate AI video with the card you have. It's just that it may require some extra tweaking and optimization before it will run. You might consider playing around with Flux or SD1.5 and doing some basic image generation first to learn the interface. ComfyUI is really confusing at first but then after you learn all the pieces, it's much more intuitive.
