Maybe the anon who got one from him earlier this year can give us some insight on how long before he accepted.

But before he would only open for an hour at a time, not a couple of days, so at this price the artist's behavior may be wildly different. Maybe he got hundreds of requests because 18k is still worth it in a lot of people's eyes, maybe he stayed open so long because it did slow down how many requests he got.
