>>8764341That's the beauty of the approach I described: AI doesn't "make" the art here. It interpolates. Think of a ball moving left to right. Normally you'd draw the ball and the background and then animate 30 frames of the whole scene. When humans have to draw the in-betweens it's cost effective to make the ball as simple as possible.With that tool you can paint an elaborate ball on the left and a second frame with an elaborate ball on the right. Then the AI comes in and generates the other frames by guessing "ball moves left to right".This absolutely wasn't possible back then. Again higher quality (more elaborate ball, higher frame rate) but also reduced cost (pay animators for two frames instead of 30).
