series like yugioh, sailor moon and pokemon were made by japs and these series caused japan to become popular worldwide. this greatly upsets the chinks.

chinks will 0.5 star any cosplay gallery that doesn't only feature heavily edited images of a gook or gooks with plastic surgeries, buckets of make-up.

if chinks see the gallery has an english tag, they'll 0.5 star it.

if chinks are triggered by you (which takes very minimal effort to accomplish), they'll 0.1-star all of your galleries, especially your most recently published galleries.

also, chinks do coordinated attacks and are chronically online. the site rewards them for it. if a gallery hasn't been rated before, and about 20 users 0.1-star it, you'd need about 100 users to rate it with 2-3 stars to increase the rating to 1.5 stars.

Sadpanda sucks. The site is over 1/3rd deleted, the community is dead, and what's left of it is Sea Monkey's absolutely seething AI poached the 100 bucks they felt like they deserved when they eventually got off their asses to translate something on commission.

The images I am being sent seem to be resized. They're all webp and around 1088 × 1536. Interestingly each chapter seems to have a manifest that includes jpg images that are around 1814 × 2560, these images don't seem to be used anywhere.
Could you check if you're also getting the 1088x1536 images? You can check by pressing F12 to open your browser's developer console, then click the network tab and load any image.

i am pretty sure they are resizing pictures and the original files are encrypted. i say this because years ago, there was someone on sukebei.nyaa.si who would scrape the comics and let you download them via DDLs in the torrent description (very unconventional). then one day, he deleted the torrent. later on, someone re-uploaded some of the comics he had scraped. if you zoom in on the webp and jpg files, you'll see the jpg version has many more artifacts than the webp, indicating that the webp version is closer to the original quality.

I don't know what exactly the format is or how to extract it however. They seem to have some sort of drm (drmwasm_bg-BPGx-sc5.wasm) which I would guess is where they modify the image.

It is a little bit scuffed though. There's a function I was able to use that gets a replacement image for the watermarked section. Then, the only way to actually replace it is to draw the image to a canvas, draw the replacement image over the top, and then convert the canvas back to an image. This doesn't seem to lead to any loss of quality that I can see, but the image did end up a little big.
Does it seem worth it to archive the 1814 × 2560 jpgs? It doesn't seem possible to get any higher resolution versions.
