No, what most people go on is the fact that she is constantly stated and called the Strongest, Powerful and Almighty Taimanin throughout the series. It didn't even take me 2 minutes to find this statement immediately after a causal search, and I know there's tons more. She's almost always referred to as such whenever she makes an appearance. From the mainline VNs, to TABA, to RPGX, to the official game profile on Lilith's site, to even Action Taimanin. No where is it "not" stated shes the strongest Taimanin.

You're talking about damage output, this goes back to my Murasaki point, someone else who is "technically stronger" than Asagi. Taimanin aren't judged based on how many cities they can blow up, this isn't DBZ. Asagi is the strongest because of her Ninja-Art, not just damage output. Asagi could kill Asuka long before attempting that attack. Asagi is Haxs.

Eh, most franchises making money today are older than Taimanin, and release a lot more random shit. It just happened that Lilith changed their management after the failure of GOGO and Extasy, and somehow got even more incompetent people in charge. Considering how loyal japs usually are to their companies, they must have done something really terrible to drive Aoi away, to the point where he even refused to draw something for the 20th anniversary celebration. Unless they get their shit together, the next game may very well be their last. Or they just give it all away to Gremory, who seems to be doing alright with AT, and we only get SFW games from now on, which would be the death of Taimanin anyway.

Taimanin died in 2014, the moment it entered the gachahell, RPGX is just a comedy sketch, sure it has some action or fights but most of it is just cringy stuff or bad comedy slice of life.

Gremory does exactly what Lilith tells them, they're a subcontractor. The main thing is that they're essentially less incompetent than the Japs at managing a game: the AT narrative is as bad if now worse than the mainline RPGX plot BUT Gremory focuses on QoL improvements and listens to the customer base, plus they have smartly put up a system to skin the whales in the most atrocious way possible (competitive arena fights) where F2P players get a shitton of goods and whales spend ungodly amount of money trying to up one another. The only complaint I have is that some paid skins are really, really good and we never got a free token for limited paid skins since Year 1, but when you sell costumes at 20/40 bucks I can understand.
Mainline Lilith went from retarded scattershot attempts (Taimanin TV an' stuff) to .... I don't even understand what they're going for. Hiring R-wade was the only smart move they've done in months.

Fixed the desync issues with scenes where a part of the scene didn't have a name tag specified (e.g. 0357_2). Ironically this bug should have been in the viewer for a while now and the week I get told about it a scene (1003) gets released with the bug too.

Because scene IDs start with 1 now and because javascript is the way it is I've hacked together something to stop the new and future HR and R scenes from appearing on the first page of the viewer. Let me know if you notice anything fucky with scene ordering.

Now that we've had a few events filled with the new artists what's everyone opinions?
I think the art is good and on average it's better than before, however none of the characters really scream Taimanin to me. It feels like you could throw them into any other game on DMM and they'd just be a whore in slightly revealing skin-tight clothing.
Unrelated to the art but the H scenarios also seem to be leaning more into Black Lilith teritory which I'm happy to see.

The new artists are OK to outright good (like the green-haired heterochroma girl), and the guy who did Summer Mitsuki in Nobushito's place was great. Probably better than the filler guys in TABA were. But sort of like you said, they've diluted things too much in every way; too many one shots, too long between major character appearances, too many weak outfits and/or scenes.

Good to see ZOL is back without someone subbing in for him, but as above, notSnuffy's scenes would be that much better if it were Kurenai- or Alectra or even Yubashiri-in-a-box.

I honestly don't know. I am less negative towards new scenes than(what i think) most people here, but at the same time, i kind of lost interest, only clicking through them with MT on, just to check if anything interesting happens in text. This is a bad sign in itself, but, again, i don't dislike new girls or anything like that. For example, i liked the nekomata scene from the new patch, but i can't be bothered to read it properly, which is mostly my own laziness or disinterest.

Also, am i tripping or Lilith literally made a scene, where an orc doesn't fuck a girl, only playing with their holes with pink lube? Must be the wind.

Something didn't sit right with me about tapestry 2. I'm not one of those that has been shouting everything since April is AI, this is the first time every single AI alarm bell in my head is going off.

I remember hearing you could use an average blur filter in photoshop to check if an image was AI. I'm too lazy to pirate photoshop so just ran all the cropped and losslessly saved as png images through an imagemagick resize to 1x1 which apparently should work the same.
Tapestrys 2,4,5,6,8,9 all average to a gray colour and all of them except tapestry 8 are attributed to "Lilith Staff".
Obviously it's a simple test so there'll be false positives (tapestry 8 is most likely a false positive), but the fact that all of the other's are attributed to "Lilith Staff" and fail the test raises some fucking questions.

Not even the dakis are good. On top of that, for dramas we have 2 brocon shit scenarios for Rinko, NTR and vanilla for Yukikaze, and the typical prostitute scenarios for Mizuki. Yukikaze really isn't Yukikaze without Aoi Nagisa's magic, huh? Pretty much none of those dakis of her looks decent. I guess it makes sense too, Yukikaze was ultimately a 4.0 design of Sara from Magical Arms AngelNana. He had been re-iterating that design for ages since he loved it that much. These other artists can't really envision Yukikaze like Aoi did since Yukikaze is more than just herself. She's a character design of something he's done for the better of almost 20 years. It's a lot of unfiltered, artist autism that is just lost in translation when someone else is drawing her for Lilith.

Only this year we had AI allegations, major talents getting fired, and a noticeable quality drop in every department. Hell, even the media engagement division just disappeared. It's just like they are actively trying to erase any trace of creativity from the whole franchise. Kagami, Sano, Aoi, ZOL, and many others are the true soul of Taimanin, and with most of them gone or AWOL, there's no real reason to stay...

The "proper ending" even has variations in Riki's relationship with Annerose depending on how loyal he was to her (or if he fucked around with Mitico and Miki). Barde doesn't even care about Annerose, he's merely going to open a demon portal and needs Mitico as starting material. Hell, even Mayfeng doesn't care much about Annerose, it's simply a merc job for her.
All quite outside the standard "training routine" of the Black Lilith VN of the era, plus it had quite more worldbuilding than the previous TA titles. Was it an experiment? Someone's pet project? Who knows.

Could you elaborate as to why you don't like those parts of the Taimanin Asagi animation? I want to know if it's for similar reasons I have.

Like you, my favorite part of the whole series is the second half of episode 1: in my case, it's due to the nonstop orc gangrape on Asagi, as the series should be always be. The tentacles and the Oboro NTR is honestly really tacked on (and clearly favored by the producers).
Second episode is not as good, but only because they decide to throw Asagi to some ugly bastards and don't have the balls to let Sakura lose her first time to an orc.
I also agree that the first few minutes of Sakura and the orcs is the best part, but after that, you can really tell that they put a leash on the production, because every scene is just generic like the gangbang in episode 2.
I would say that the Oboro scenes in 4 are good, though, and were a big highlight for me. Too bad that they didn't deliver on the preview scenes we saw in the first episode, though, they were way better than what we saw in the actual flesh prison sequene of the anime.

The latter half of Ep.1 is core Taimanin Asagi, Asagi getting dominated through and through. Ep.2 is slightly below but still good, I actually like Asagi getting thrown to a bunch of men, she was similarly thrown to the audience members in the game as well. But the choice to have Sakura fucked by Kyousuke is a little weird and a sign of the liberties the adaptation would further take. I can appreciate the attempt of Oboro trying to make it hurt more by having her sister's lover fuck her, but I think the way it was done in the game would've been more impactful. The beginning of Ep.3 was great, and more of what I like, but then it immediately nose dives in my opinion. I don't care for Oboro, so any scene/time they used with her in it was a waste to me personally. And it doesn't make any sense for Black to be fucking her. Black sees Oboro similar to how he sees Ingrid, a useful tool to be used, except Ingrid is more loyal as opposed to Oboro being more afraid of him.. And Ep.4 I almost completely write off, there's maybe 2 or 3 shots that look worthwhile to me, but besides a few good shots its just weaker than the earlier stuff. To the point where the latter half is just doing its own thing with the story entirely.

Again I find the KS OVA much better overall, getting better with each episode as opposed to TA which gets weaker with each episode.

I like his animation in Shintaisou: Kari/ Princess 69 and Seifuku Shojo. Mostly more in Princess 69, though. The fast thrusts + porygon episode effect that he uses in his animations have a nice way of emphasizing the high of the sex. While you guys are on Sakura and the OVA, I gotta say, I don't really like her much there. In episode 3, after she gets put in a room with Asagi, she rejects her sister's attempt to comfort her, resents Asagi for getting to have her first time with someone she loved, and seems to genuinely let herself get desperate and buy into Oboro's promise that she'll be freed if she out-cumdumpsters Asagi. Like, she really throws herself into that role. But in the next episode, after Asagi wins and chooses to stay behind to fight Sakura (can't risk her getting mindbroken and leaking secrets), Sakura suddenly shifts gears and tells Asagi to "Fight me seriously. I want you to get out of here, even without me!"

It's such a 180 that it's hard to tell what the writers were going for. If Sakura was only acting in episode 3, then I have no idea what her plan was. And if her behavior in episode 3 was meant to be for actual drama, then episode 4 leaves that drama unresolved. A lack of Shadow Art aside, that makes OVA Sakura feel a lot weaker than VN Sakura. VN Sakura gets put through a week of rape and body mods and still tells her sister "I'm a Taimanin, just like you. Don't worry, this won't bring me down!" OVA Sakura goes through the same thing but loses her shit halfway through and tries tossing her sister to the wolves. I like Sakura's sex scenes in the OVA, but her character's really lame.
