Hitomi downloader is great for Windows, not really for macOS. Sometimes e/xhentai will have torrent download options, but it's not guaranteed. Same for images from Pixiv, videos from wherever you get videos, even for more "normal" stuff like YouTube videos. Shit gets taken down and drives fail all the time, if it's something you care about keeping access to, download it.
