Just for more details, my previous attempt pic, playing around mask areas on skins and range of denoise strength. I have way worse results, understand to avoid eyes, mouth, hands and nipples since they will get deformed. Simple anime SFW to nude is a bust since the gen also alter the pose or misinterpret the breast size and misplace nipples. I used WAI Illustrious since I prefer the simple danbooru tags for prompts instead of caption phrase. So far played with StabilityMatrix inference since it is simple but output strangely hundred MBs, while Forge Neo is a bit complex but willing to learn. I'm a bit disappointed in Anima so far, I don't see what it does better over Noob xl, it's worse in several ways, doesn't reproduce art styles nearly as well, doesn't blend styles with each others or with realism anywhere near as good as noob, there's a lack of details overall, etcHopefully just skill issue.

You're right about style mixing, most people either use prompt scheduling to mix or train a lora since those mix easier. Lack of details is definitely a skill issue. The VAE has only half compression so a 1024 res gen is effectively a 2048 on sdxl, you should not need upscaling or adetailer at all in most cases because eyes and other small details come out clean already. As for amount of detail, the text encodes is pretty anal about leaving things out of the prompt, so if you say "indoors" you're likely to get a blank room unless you describe more of the stuff in it. The upside is that you can actually say "there is an ak-47 mounted on the wall in the top right corner" or "six empty beer bottles on the ground" as opposed to the SDXL way of throwing out tags and hoping something sticks, and then hoping the gun looks remotely passable. This also replaces regional prompter or controlnet in multi-character scenes to some degree, since you can just say who's where and who's doing what.

Trying out all the different samplers and schedulers, no matter how cursed they look on paper, and mashing artist style tags based on vague expectations of how they *might* affect the output. I guess you also have to develop a strong allergy towards "greyish" and "roundish" outputs to give you motivation, if that makes sense.
I test every single tags meticulously lol. It's boring, but eventually I get a really good feel and know how to talk to the model and it become less random and more predictable for me.At least that was the case for noob, now I'm learning anima in the same way.But I've never really learned inpaint or dual sample/hires workflows, mostly because I don't need it right now, I'd rather want more speed.
