Has any theologian addressed this?

Christians pretend that they're not just as likely to go to the Muslim Hell as Muslims are to go to their own. It's all ultimately made up anyway.

>Every time we go to church we're just making him madder and madder!"
Why do you assume that this hypothetical correct god would care about you going to church? Certainly he doesn't seem to care enough for him to correct us at all, you'd think if going to church to worship the wrong god he would've already intervened to show us our error.

Based Muslim.

>Christians pretend that they're not just as likely to go to the Muslim Hell
Christians don't go to Hell in Islam. They're given a chance to accept Islam once they're dead and have realized that their religion is wrong.

No such thing is assumed, merely a hypothetical is proposed. As to why, The Simpsons was written by people raised under Abrahamism, notorious for its jealous god and its doctrine that heretics are punished more severely than atheists.

Your hypothetical assumes that the correct god would get mat at people going to church.

1. Not true, both atheists and heretics are punished equally.
2. Why do they assume then that the correct god would be as jealous as the Abrahamic god?

At least Dante's inferno has heretics punished more severely than atheists, and it probably reflects attitudes at his time. Do you have like a Catechism which states the contrary?
>>
>>17975123
The Western civilization was doing pretty well, back when most people went to church, so I think whoever the god is, he favors Christianity.

I'm not Catholic, or Christian for that matter. But according to Catholic doctrine both heretics and atheists reject doctrinal truth, so they are both damned to Hell.

Also, Dante's Inferno is literal fanfiction.
>heretics punished more severely than atheists
I've read the Divine Commedy and no, they're both non-believers so they're damned to the same circle of heretics, and their punishment is the same, to be buried forever in burrning coffins.

How come they only ever say church and not synagogue?

Suppose atheists have chosen the wrong god. Every time they trust the Science they make Him madder and madder

This is one of those problems with real theologians understand, but mainstream religious leaders tend to not address for one reason or another
Basically we don't know who the one true God is, but we don't think God expects us to know either, that wouldn't be reasonable. We can only suspect that the truth lies somewhere within various pieces of evidence that is believed to have been left for us, and our ability to reason and extrapolate is a gift that enables us the ability to debate and discuss these pieces of evidence, whether it's the natural world, or in written religious texts, and through this debate, through experimentation, and through extrapolation, we get closer to the truth.
The only difference between a secular naturalist and a religious church leader in this regard are what their standards for evidence is. Also nobody takes biblical literalists and fundamentalists seriously. Everyone who has gone to an actual seminary laughs at those retards.
