>irish accent is just elizabethan english accent
>all their music is just english music, fiddles were adopted from english settlers
>the flat cap was invented in northern english
>craic is just the english word crack
>all their famous people are just british protestants
What do they have without england? hurling? They're now trying to pretend ulster loyalists are their fellow gaels

As someone who has been to Ireland multiple times, they do have a unique culture. Their problem is that they’re terrible at promoting it to the world. Even within Ireland, attempts to make speaking Irish mainstream have been minimal at best.

didn't they save christianity one time?

Y’know it’s almost like when you get occupied for centuries, killed, starved and have basically your entire culture wiped off the face of the earth, you don’t have much culture remaining except from foreign influence! Crazy huh??

Why do they make fun of ulster loyalists yet try to claim them as their fellow celtic gaels?
Bit strange
>>
We had a decent run there but alas, looks like Ireland Derangement Syndrome is alive and well. Comiserations to OP, permanently mindbroken.
>>
>>17978332
Irish "celtic" nationalists are now writing spiels and making tiktoks showing how ulster scots are their fellow celtic gaelic brethren
Why do you hate loyalists yet steal their culture? It's as pathetic as loyalists who pretend cu chulain was an ulsterman

Loving all this organic anti-Irish posting that normal non-paid anons are making. They've got some good points that they definitely didn't work out together on a discord ahead of time.

>people rightly call you out for your schizophrenic treatment of them
>claim the people who call you out as mentally ill
>>
It's funny how paddies will justifiably make fun of loyalists for retarded murals like this and for pretending the cruithin were the lost tribes of israel and the natives of ulster yet will see nothing wrong in claiming that loyalists are their fellow celtic gaels
>>
That's a pretty Anglo-centric claim, mate. The Irish have unique music such as caoineadh, unique sports with the Gaelic Athletic Association and hurling being over 3,000 years old, and Cú Chulainn is complete distinct from English folklore.
>>
Nobody claims Protestant Loyalists are Gaels. Irish people will tell you that Protestants are welcome in the "Irish identity" and that they are obviously welcome to participate in cultural pursuits traditionally associated with Gaels (music, sport, etc) because they have been doing so for centuries.

Yes, people make fun of Ulster Loyalists because they are very silly and if you lived in Northern Ireland you would know that they are treated as the political punching bag of this place, mostly owning to the endless supply of silly shit they do.

OP you are severely mentally ill, this is your most insane shizo rant yet.

Uberboyo, an irish internet right winger claims ulster loyalists are irish gaels constantly
Schizophrenic national identity
>>
>>17978602
You think uberboyo has a schizophrenic idea of Irish national identity?
>>
>>17978602
>irish internet right winger
So some random stupid faggot, then.

All of the people who actually fought for Ireland (instead of making a fortune on the internet via clicks from gullible tards) had the same view;
>Yeah, most Protestants in Northern Ireland are very pro-british
>This is a shame, we would much rather see them join us in ridding this island of the British
>but realistically that's going to be hard
Nobody sees them as "fellow Gaels" unless they immerse themselves in the culture in which case they're always welcome to the identity and community.

do you get all your views from randomers on the internet?
>>
>>17978614
I think the irish do in general
>>17978640
Irish RW twitter and tiktok keep claiming ulster scots as gaelic celts and making edits featuring them
How can they be gaels if only a few amount of them who were actually planted in ireland spoke gaelic? most of them were english/scots speaking peasants from the lowlands
>>
>>17978646
>Irish RW twitter and tiktok
so, retards on the internet again.
>How can they be gaels
They aren't.

Retards on the internet insisting that they are are simply wrong. The word "Gael" is only really used in Ireland to refer to those deeply immersed in Irish culture; people big into the language or sport most predominantly. Many of those are Protestants. Protestants in Ireland were a part of the Gaelic Revival from the very start, and have been a part of Irish Nationalism as we know it from the "start" too-obviously not the medieval "nationalisms" but from the mid-late 18th Century the concept of an Irish Nation (whether in an independent or devolved british context) had Protestants at the forefront.

This isn't a secret, any Irish history book will tell you all about it. Don't get your views from tiktok and twitter, for fuck's sake.
>>

>I think the irish do in general
What would be an example of a non-schizophrenic national identity?
>>
>>17978670
Most national identities
Only post colonial butthurt nations like ireland, ukraine, etc have schizophrenic national identities
>>17978667
>DUDE IT'S JUST A FEW PEOPLE ON TWITTER
And the loyalists who think cu chulain was an ulster proddy are just a few hundred retards yet they get continuous abuse
Why do you defend the irish pretending scots irish in appalachia are "celtic gaelic brethren" while at the same time insulting loyalists?
>>
>>17978686
>And the loyalists who think cu chulain was an ulster proddy are just a few hundred retards yet they get continuous abuse
People don't just make fun of them for that one mural example, they make fun of many things. Like I said, anyone who lives here knows that whether you're a Unionist or a Nationalist/Republican, the general punching bag of politics is Ulster Loyalism because they generally produce the most consistently silly stuf. You are the one claiming that all Irish people do something because you saw it on twitter, kekked.

I think you should have thought this latest angle out a bit more anon, you are coming off like an actual retard.
>>
>>17978686
>Only post colonial butthurt nations like ireland, ukraine, etc have schizophrenic national identities

Because there is some trace of the colonizers identity remaining?
>>
>>17978693
>the general punching bag of politics is Ulster Loyalism because they generally produce the most consistently silly stuf
Which is why irish republicans copy loyalists by having their own orange order marches in green instead? Which is why the irish have to use melodies of songs like the orange heroes of comber for their republican songs? Why is why irish republicans started rioting after loyalists were doing it in ballymena because republicans felt left out? Which is why they copy july the 12th bonfires?
>>
>>17978706
>having their own orange order marches
Loyalists did not invent the concept of a march. The most popular Republican march is the Hunger Strikers one.
>but muh melodies
Many songs throughout history have multiple melodies and the same can be said for Irish songs-both those written by Protestants and by Catholics.
>Why is why irish republicans started rioting after loyalists were doing it in ballymena
Ireland has had race riots for ages. Ballymena wasn't the first Loyalist one, nor the first major one.
>Which is why they copy july the 12th bonfires
Internment bonfires mark internment. The night before internment began, bonfires were lit in solidarity and have been lit ever since.

have a sit down, anon.
>>
>>17977586
Because Ulster Loyalists are cucked to the max and are proud of the fact that they are the descendants of Anglo-Scottish colonial rape babies while being a massive drain to the British Crown.
>>
>>17978740
>Loyalists did not invent the concept of a march. The most popular Republican march is the Hunger Strikers one.
I'm referring to the hibernians who are just orange order marchers who wear green instead
>Many songs throughout history have multiple melodies and the same can be said for Irish songs-both those written by Protestants and by Catholics.
It's a little bit ironic when the most famous irish republican song had its melody cribbed from a loyalist song
>Ireland has had race riots for ages. Ballymena wasn't the first Loyalist one, nor the first major one.
Nope, Loyalists had been rioting in ballymena and elsewhere and republican youths started rioting (not even to do with race just for the hell of it) because they felt left out i guess
>Internment bonfires mark internment. The night before internment began, bonfires were lit in solidarity and have been lit ever since.
Ulstermen have been lighting bonfires since the siege of londonderry ended, and celebrated bonfire night like the english and scottish before that
>>17978752
How are they colonial rape babies? They are descendents of english and scottish settlers. They aren't the product of settlers raping irish women, they are direct descendents of settler families
