A common view I've heard that goes basically like:>fascists are impossible to reason or debate with because their ideology is built on an unfalsifiable mythological worldview according to which they are objectively correct and those who oppose them are evilSo isn't this the exact problem that communism has?How is dialectical materialism any more *real* than any fascist mythology?
Dialectical materialism was enforced as dogma in Maoist China, and they turned out great. Dialectical materialism stems from basic material analysis and class relations, not some mythical hierarchy.
>>17980376Anyone arguing their own beliefs with no real layer of rationality is impossible to debate with. Leftism is the traditional leader in that sphere because leftism is idealistic, about building a better world. Like your pic. They craft rhetoric that's better than reality. The right is all about inconvenient truths, inconvenient because it's harder to make them sound like glittering optimism. Truths because they reflect how the world currently is, not how it might could be.
>>17981083>turned out great>millions of people perished from famine>untold amounts of culture was destroyed because of atheist dogmatism>political repression (Tiannemen Square, mobile organ harvesting vans)>only materially improved after adopting (state) capitalism??? CCPaboos are very deluded.
>>17980376fascism is the way
>>17981109So the right is a rational science?
>>17981165Commies will excuse it all because in the end it became wealthier, they dont care that the people who did it have almost nothing in common with Mao outside of violence
yes. "revisionism" is just tankie jargon for "heresy."
>>17981165You're ignoring the gains in literacy and massive poverty reduction. Those are real achievements you shouldn't ignore. The CCP genuinely made China a better and more prosperous country.
>>17982009Yes, through fascist state capitalism.
>>17981961Only if you're rational. It's just as easy to defile, people are just more likely to score with leftism.
>>17982196You're a big rational guy.
>>17982229for some
>>17980376diamat is so self-evidently and obviously true that it's difficult to even imagine a world where it was false, although it might make for an interesting fantasy novel
>>17982461too bad Marx had to go inserting his own ideas into something perfectly good from Hegel
>>17980376>So isn't this the exact problem that communism has?I think it CAN have that problem, but I think this is the wrong way to think about it. "Communism" here is kind of an abstraction. What you're really talking about are people. There can be communists who really don't think rationally or even "politically" (as I would see it), but irrationally or in some kind of quasi-religious sort of way.
>>17980376yes
>>17980376COMMUNISM IS THE WORST
>>17982461>>diamat is so self-evidently and obviously truelol
>>17981083>Dialectical materialism stems from basic material analysis and class relationsIt stems from a crudely simplified understanding of history and human nature and is then used to make prophecies about the future none of which have proven true
>>17980376Most successful, lasting ideologies are unfalsifiable. Otherwise they won't stick around past the era they were created for.Socialism is unfalsifiable, all major world religions are unfalsifiable. Fascism and Nazism, too.If anything I think Fascism and Nazism are more unfalsifiable, which is part of why they are much smaller in comparison to other radical ideologies.
