There was a sense in the 90s that racism and xenophobia were a thing of the past, we laughed at how absurd it all was and it seemed more and more thatbwe were moving towards a world of mutual respect and understanding between people of all races and nations. What changed? Why is anti immigrant sentiment and far right rethoric on the rise? Why we went from coexistence to open racial hostility?
