Christian anons, how did you figure out which denomination was objectively the right one? Has anyone actually ever done the homework and read up on every denomination and figured out which one is true? Did God reveal to you which one is true? I'd love to hear people's arguments for their denomination, and how they reached that conclusion. This is bound to start arguments. Try to be nice anons.
>>17983653They believe they have the holy spirit while other Christians do not, even if they also make the same identical claim using the same standard of evidence. This makes them reject the others as not true Christians.
it's only really between RC and EO
>>17983653I still haven't figured it out, part of me thinks that God wouldn't require a theology degree to get into heaven so true believers are probably spread across multiple. The other part of me thinks that God can do what he wants and maybe I'm projecting some of my own confused universalist thinking onto the religion.
>>17983653The idea of "true denomination" is erroneous because it implies only within the bounds of one can the true religion exist. This is compounded by the ambiguity of the word "denomination". However the answer basically is by reference to the holy scriptures which are the word of God and the foundation of religion. From them I am convicted the Reformed tradition is as a whole correct.
>>17983653It's pretty obvious Catholics aren't actually Christian
>>17983726they were until they started to act all fruity in the late medieval period
>>17983653None of the denominations are correct. Christ's message is confusingly universal and removed from any of these sects (at least exclusively).t. ex ortho
>>17983653There is no correct denomination. Framing the problem as only having a denomination for the solution excludes the right answer, which is to understand which people are the real Israel, the true cross, the body of God, etc.
I was raised in an atheist household but both my parents were from Irish Catholic families. I did a few years of digging in my 20's once I had figured out Jesus was without a doubt real and the apostles died grisly deaths for their beliefs. Then it was figuring out which denomination. Kind of easy to reach it seeing how prots have their pastrixes and LGBTQ+ parades, even after checking out a Lutheran church to see if they weren't all that bad (they were). By then it was just between Orthodox and Catholicism, and so I asked my Orthodox friend and his only rationale was that they we're 'based' and that the Nephilim were 'freakin real bro, they're yetis'. So I pretty much ended up at Catholicism independently. Not to say Catholicism doesn't have it's problems, but it seems the closest to the true church that Jesus had in mind.
>>17983653historically speaking Orthodox Christianity makes most sense, ever since the 20th century modernist apostasy creeped into absolutely all christian groups, the main genuine/true orthodox old calendarist synods seem to be in the right (be aware of splinters and grifters who identify).
>>17983733that makes no sense
>>17983738your friend sounds based and you sound rather effeminate
>>17983653i don’t think there is an objectively correct one, i think the original church Jesus left us has been fractured with schisms and reformationsthe closest to the original is probably either the greek orthodox or catholics but really neither of those is the true original Church™
Didn't the Vatican host a gay pride pilgrimage literally the other day lol
>Christians should not participate in war, violence, or revenge>Christians shouldn't participate in politics>people should decide for themselves if they would like to be baptizedFor me, it's Anabaptism.
>>17983653verse per verse, Hebrew per Hebrew, Greek per Greek. Nah, forget all of that lockdown stuff. You gotta pivot like a cryptobro or you're not even a man and the devil will say loosey goosey but it's really not true.
>>17983804eh basically, it’s more like a bunch of gays showed up to the Jubileethey really shouldn’t have been allowed to march but it wasn’t anything official from the top downi give it 10 years

>>17983738>and the apostles died grisly deaths for their beliefs. So do modern day jihadis
>>17983852>Yes the Pope just sacrificed a child to Baal but it wasn't ex cathedra bro.
>>17983751How so? What part of it doesn't make sense?
>>17983924Jihad is more an arabic supermacist imperialist impulse disguised as genuine theological belief. It’s subconsciously racial/pagan, the very belief being its own justification. It’s a very weird phenomenon, islam. It’s extremely racial. The apostles died because of what they heard and what they saw, an not some kind of self justifying pagan belief that serves the survival of the arab race.
>>17983924>the Arab world's version of school shooters, promised 72 virgins in the afterlife by Mohammad to bomb a churchOr>11/12 of the apostles dying in various places across the known world in the most horrific ways, for the sole purpose of trying to save the masses who wanted them killed, and the only one to survive was exiled with threat of death should he ever leaveYeah they definitely didn't see anything important or noteworthy while with Jesus.
>>17983977>The apostles died because of what they heard and what they sawJust like the Muhammad's companions who went far and wide to spread the religion to other ethnicities, wow!>>17983999>for the sole purpose of trying to save the masses who wanted them killedYou must be reading from the seerah.
>>17984033You mean the Sirah, the book of military conscript paperwork and letters of enlistment that are worshipped as gospel?Yeah no thanks.
>>17984071>thinks the seerah is one bookNo I don't mean that. How about you do some basic research about the things you share your opinion on?
>>17984100Why would I waste my time reading Mohammadian accounts of soldier marching orders?
>>17984116>admits he doesn't read anything about what he is talking aboutlmao
>>17983653Catholicism only because Presbyterianism is against free will. Presbyterians tend to be anti-dispensationalist though.
>>17984130Not reading the Mohammadshit literature is good for the soul
>>17984189>christian praising ignorance and talking out of their assas expected
>>17984206Ok Mohammad go back to fucking your goats
>>17983653"Objectively" doesn't belong in theology. It's literally faith.Which do you have faith in? For you, that one is as close to objectively true as possible.
>>17984234>can't respond to anything so he resorts to ad hominemI accept your concession
>>17984206>God, an omnipresent and omnipotent diety, tells your something>"erm, actually, I'm a monkey and live on a rock and I know better"
>>17984255>biblical authors constantly make mistakes>hurr this is the word of an omniscient being!
>>17984241This is the brownest post I've ever seen. We never should have given the third world an Internet connection.
>>17984241Whites police their own communities and report degenerates, muslims protect theirs even more than blacks do
>>17984315same with how rape in India is at a much lower rate than the UK, but every time the UK lets another Indian in their rape rate hits another all time high lmao.
>>17984315nice cope but everyone knows about you people and the filthy things you do with your dogs
>>17984391Weird cope about white people when that's the entire world's thought about middle eastern Muslims is how many goats they fuck per day (don't worry it's not haram)
>>17983653There is only one Church, that is the Church that Peter founded at the command of Christ before his death and that is the Roman Catholic Church. The only Church until Martin Luther's chimpout.
>>17984440>my delusions apply to the whole world!https://sunnah.com/tirmidhi/17/38
Most Christians end up in the denomination they were born into, anon.
>>17983751Human's understanding is always lacking as God says
>>17984241hilarious that jeets have been trying to push the 'whites are degenerate!' meme lately
>>17984564
>>17983653I just applied some basic logic. The early Church had to have the right structure, so which one looks most like it did in the 1st-3rd centuries? It is the one with apostolic succession, the Eucharist as the actual Body and Blood, and that compiled the Bible we are using. The historical evidence is pretty overwhelming if you actually look.
