For centuries, it was Turks at the forefront of Islamic expansion. Mohammadeans were synonymous with Turks. When and how did the Arabs take that mantle and why are the Turks not geopolitically relevant anymore?

Modern “turks” are descendants former european slaves, not chad steppe warriors.

It’s only been a century since the Ottoman Empire fell. I don’t think Turks have been ethnically replaced since then.
>>

The ethnic replacement started centuries before the collapse of the empire

>Mohammadeans were synonymous with Turks
That was only true for like 200 years at the peak of the Ottoman Empire. in the crusades for example, European historians at the time usually referred to the Muslims as Saracens, a name the byzantines used to refer to Arabs. You might think the Saracens became synonymous with Muslim but that wasn’t the case. For Turks at least, as the Europeans knew to differentiate between them and the Saracens.

You're all just a Slavic, Greek, Armenian, Persian hybrid for the most part and the genetic studies prove it.
Only 300k og slanty eyed turks settled into Anatolia when the region already had over 10 million people in the middle ages.

I don't think they should be allowed any European territory, that was a bad deal after the empire fell.

There are Chuds on Twatter that "identify" as Hittitie and Luwian now, rather than Turkiye. Let hope it catches on, unironically. Their Anatolian history is 1000x more beautiful and more ancient. Over half of "Greek History" took place there, all of Paul's first churches too. Even Zeus got his boi bussy there.

>now
LARPing as Hittites started by Ataturk and remained among circles of Kemalites. Its nothing new really and genetic-wise even more plausibile than the turanic/steppes LARPing pushed by the Erdoganites

Every single arabic country outside the Gulf is wartorn/poor shithole, and the Gulfies are all about soft power thanks to oil and nothing else. No one of them can match the strenght of the Turkish army

European colonialism divided former Ottoman lands, that's why.

False, the warrior races of the Ummah today are the Iranians and the Pashtuns

Arabs are seen as either colonized victims (levant and iraq) or happy merchants (gulf), only the Afghanis and the Iranian carry that combatant spirit

>it was Turks at the forefront of Islamic expansion
Which is why Islamic expansion came to a halt.

When Arabs and Persians were at the forefront Islam expanded rapidly, including the entirely peaceful conversion of Indonesia, Somalia, Swahili, Maldives, Mali, Nigeria, etc, which even Europeans were not capable of doing in the colonial age.

When Turkic mongoloids were at the forefront the Islamic expansion halted and the golden age of Islam came to an end.
