Why do we say that Carthage sacrificed children as an ancient mystical semitic religious experience instead of the fact that it's a bunch of retards who were basically a Greek backwater adopting the worst aspects of errant culture that developed around the western Mediterranean?

Example: The sacrificing to a bull thing isn't even OT. It's because a Greek tyrant did it.
>>
>all contemporary sources say it was a phoenician habit
>no contemporary sources say child sacrifice was barbarian habit in western Europe
>"saaaaaar it was the celtoid cumskins saaaaar"
>>
>>17984510
Because Greeks didn't do that.

Child sacrificing? Maybe not, but it appears to have emerged out of a Greek extremtiy. The brazen bull of Phaleron comes from Greece and is exported to Carthage, which by the way was founded as a Greek city state by Dido.
>>
>>17984522
Celtoid subhumans were only slaves of the Greeks and Romans, no one ever adopted any cultural practices from those faggots.
>>
>>17984540
That doesn't make sense. Latin is literally a Celtic language.
>>
>>17984533
>but the genetic pivot table says saaaa-
yes, haplojeet, cultural/religious practices are 100% genetic, which is why chinese buddhists are genetically similar to indians
>>
>>17984510
Carthage had evil jews
>>
>>17984510
They found the child sacrifice grave yard in Carthage

Actually, the Cretan story of the minotaur involves sacrificing people to the man-bull. This is very Greek!!!
>>
>>17984917
Portrayed as bad and the Cretans weren't Greek
>>
>>17984921
Yes they were.
>>
>>17984921
>Cretans weren't Greek
>King MINOS makes king AEGEUS pick seven boys to sacrifice
So we have GREEKS doing child sacrifice. Checkmate, semitist retard.
>>
>>17984924
No not during the Bronze age.

>>17984927
They forced the Greeks to hand over sacrifices. The Greeks didn't want to which is why the story is about a Greek going there and killing the Minotaur
>>
>>17984930
>Minos
>This isn't an Aryan suffices appended to a Greek word

You're grasping those straws so hard you're practically threshing grain.
>>
>>17984935
Bro no one but you believes that the Minoans were even Indo-European much less Greek
>>
>>17984939
You're arguing that king Minos was Minoan, I take it from the name? When do you date king Minos? And how are Greeks sending sacrifices to Minoans if they
>A) don't speak the same language
>B) you're arguing that Greeks weren't even then (even though they're sending sacrifices)

And why are you making an appeal to popularity when it's literally just you?

Fun fact, there is one eroge where the magical girl protagonist is thrown inside an iron bull, there is no gore/crisp but it's still quite disturbing although quite mid to what nips do to their magical girls.
I suppose it has something to do with sacrificing something brave and pure, not innocent and pure like in antiquity.
>>
>>17984510
Tertullian, who himself was a Carthaginian, admitted that his pagan kinsmen continued to sacrifice children even during the 2-3rd century AD.

>>17984533
>a few cherry picked slave samples from Punic slave plantations in Europe are... European
SHOCKING

>[citation needed]
>>
>>17984510
Minoans also had child sacrifice. They were the last minoans.

Romans are post-BAC Celts.

The "Golden Calf" of the Exodus was acktchually a "Brazen Bull"/Moloch. Just a bit of flowery language for effect.
>>
Because Carthage was founded by traders from Tyre and absorbed Mediterranean cultural influences.
>>
>>17984510
there was no child sacrifice. the torah isn't a history book.
>>
>>17985256
euphoric

Because they had a maritime "empire" where they were able to get tribute from the Greeks

Ever heard the saying extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence

Where?
It's pretty obvious that the ancient middle east of the past wasn't the same brown place it is today

Carthage was a Phoenician powerhouse with its own deep theological roots. The tophet evidence is overwhelming, and their own inscriptions thank Ba'al Hammon for *hearing their voice* after the sacrifice. This was a core, terrifyingly logical pact with their gods for survival and favor. Dismissing it as just 'retards' copying neighbors ignores the profound, dark calculus of their faith.
