How do you respond without sounding mad?

Who says I wouldn't be mad? I'd hate him for telling the truth.

I'm not a jew so he wasn't directing that comment my way.

Some self-reflective phrasing can defuse tension while remaining composed. He seems like a reasonable guy, after all.

Typically : The way the do it.
"Ma brah, it's only survival of the fittest. The strong will succeed. It's natures way..."

Totally negating the fact that it's usally the creatures that can get by on the least that are the most apt for survival.

Oh well - gluttony unrelenting. Consume flesh and be happy, demon....

Jews do not call Jesus Lord nor do they prophesy, cast out demons and do many mighty works in his name. This can only refer to Christians

Never knew you either bitch

The first Christians would not have called themselves "Christians" but likely as followers of Judean religious tradition and customs as they were Jewish reformists. Paul seems to imply that the term "Christian" was a word that other people (The people of Antioch) first used to describe them, likely as a tongue-in-cheek or derogatory term that the Apostles just accepted and coopted as their own

I mean that's true, James for example gave no indication that he was anything but a Jewish religious leader who also accepted Jesus as the messiah. Still though I don't think Jesus was referring to a specific label. Just people who do those things then have no law, which is actually quite Paulian

There’s plenty of spots in the Bible that refer to people (Jew and Gentile) who think they’re Christian but won’t actually make it past the Pearly Gates (for one reason or another). But, like most Christians, you’ve never read the Bible in its entirety and just sort of take potshots at what you assume is in there somewhere.

The world would be a much different place if even 40% of Christians would read the entire Bible. My grandparents were devout Christians for over 65 years, and never once did they succeed in reading the whole Bible. For reference, the Harry Potter series contains more words than the Bible, and middle schoolers read that easily over a few months.

Christians fought so hard for the right to read the Bible in English, and they don’t even do it. Religion truly is for the cattle.

So. Yeah - so he's basically saying "don't be a cultist..."

Apparently nobody who read it got the gist - but this shit is mad.

When did they add 'a' into heaven?
It's not how you spell seven is it?

All these people wanting to be in the kingdom of heathen.... gee.
Fuckin' funny guys.... you're all so fuckin' funny.

"You will reap what you sow...."

- What the hell made them think they could reap the entire fucking world, then?

He was referring to anyone who believe in him but don't obey him and keep sinning.
