Nihilism doesn’t automatically give you happiness. Many people who embrace it are still struggling.

I gave up trying to enlighten people that nothing matters when I realized their living in ignorance and believing lies also did not matter, and that my being right and them being wrong didn't matter either. In a way, the religionfags are the biggest nihilists of all, believing in made up nonsense and being happy with it despite the total absence of meaning in anything they believe or do. I wish I could embrace nothing the way they do.I'm stuck waffling in my indecision. I am totally free to believe or do anything I like but it all just seem so unappealing to me because I lack the will to simply create my own happiness out of nothing.

Nihilism is antithetical to life. You called it cope yourself, which is exactly what it is. Coping with your powerlessness to change your life to what you want. The ultimate truth is that we all have the power to change our lives, but we don't for a plethora of reasons that include fear of change, not wanting to disappoint our peers and loved ones, insecurities about what we are capable of, comparing ourselves to people that are way different from us. The ultimate truth is that you can live your life the way you want to, but you need to compare yourself to yourself yesterday. That is how you can see progress and stand proud of where you are at right now.
Depends what you mean by nihilism. Just the way you phrased that makes me think you mean nihilism as in >BAWWWWWW LIFE SUX CUZ... CUZ IT JUST DOES BROwhich is missing the point completely. There being no objective "this is why the universe exists" hardly means you need to "cope" about anything. I would largely consider myself a nihilist and I still have personal meaning to my life. I have a ton of things I enjoy doing. There's good and bad today just as there was before. Dissatisfaction with your life circumstances or decisions is not a worldview and you should stop acting like it is.
