I just got back to university at age 25, I got my diploma and associates when I was 18 and now I'm taking 2 years to finish a bachelor's in history. Small problem, I took Spanish 101 online 7 years ago and I relied on Google Translate to pass the class. It's been a few weeks now and I really fucking suck at Spanish and it's fucking up my whole experience. I have to take two more semesters of Spanish after this because the fucking uni has it as a requirement for all humanities degrees. Anyways, it looks like my choices are get good at Spanish or change majors. Any advice for getting my skills up to a Span 102 level before I blow my brains out?
>wasting your time on a degree that requires you to learn a subhuman language
Use sites like HelloTalk. Speaking to real humans accelerates learning more than worksheets.
>>17987019Why didn't you register for Spanish 101? If they saw you already took it, you'd just need to talk to a counselor to explain that it's old and you don't understand it. Worst case you have to take a placement exam that shows you belong in Spanish 101. Why didn't you do a single proactive thing to help yourself? This is entirely your fault and is purely due to your inability to help yourself or work within a system. At this point of the semester, you're probably past the add/drop deadline to get a full refund as well. You're legitimately stupid and you deserve what happens now.
