A truly all powerful god would not care if he is worshiped or desire to be glorified. Think about it like you caring at all about what ants think of you, only magnified by infinity.
>>
Of course. God does not need us, we need him.

Religion is so clearly man-made in every facet.
>The streets in Heaven will be paved with gold
Why gold? Why would god give a fuck about gold? Obviously it’s a sign of wealth. Why would god give a fuck about wealth? There’s planets made of diamonds. Obviously diamonds are valuable here, but not on a godly scale. Why gold? Why not Iridium? It’s far rarer than gold, and gold is not *that* rare. I mean, the writers of the Bible didn’t know what Iridium is, but god did. Fuck it, streets made of antimatter gold. That be really impressive.

But why does god give a fuck about impressive? Why does god need streets? None of it makes any fucking sense.

God is far too humanized in the Bible to make any fucking sense.

Christfags when they can't loop you down an endless hallway of retarded metaphysics

You have to understand that the "revelations" and descriptions of God from scripture are definitions and phrases that can be understood from the level of a human (because other humans wrote it).

Reading that God desires us to worship him shouldn't be treated as God having some actual human type of feeling, but a way to posit the idea that our inane human nature has some central source it's always striving for, whether we consciously know it or not.

Why does this logic apply to Christianity but not any other religion
>>
>>17987666
It can apply to any religion that has a traceable history and tradition. Only retarded apologists would say Christianity is somehow the only one to do this.

Ofcourse it is.

Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name

It's almost as if he became a man. I think he made heaven out of gold, so that it would make sense to the people reading it.

But you know better. Thats why you're not building a tower out of tar and brick. That would be silly.

I'm not even mad at secularism at this point. God just wants to protect us from the occult fake Jesus so badly.

An all-powerful god simping for mortal validation is the most beta shit imaginable. If he is so omnipotent, why does he need a PR team? Sounds less like a divine being and more like a celestial narcissist with crippling self-esteem issues. The only logical conclusion is that he either doesn't exist or is a massive fuckking incel. You worshiping that? I'll never.
