Has anyone read this book before? I made it a chapter in before having to put it down. The guy works for Answers in Genesis(young earth creationists) and in the first chapter he immediately says that he actually does believe the historicity of Walam Olum, which seems to pretty clearly be bullshit. I'd be interested in understanding how people justify young earth creationism, but is it really all this retarded? Like if you want to ignore evidence I understand how you can think yourself into that position, but to just obviously work backwards from your conclusion that the earth is just a few thousand years old is fucking retarded. Is this book worth finishing? It contains a pretty detailed appendix, and apparently the latter half actually deals with the the myths American Indians believed.#rapekenham
