Even before the actual political unity and mass literacy, in say 1850 or 1900, 80-90% Romanian were mostly the same blob of Orthodox Romance-speaking peasants, just split into different countries. (Yes, some Greek Catholics existed but they were still closer to Orthodox)Meanwhile Yugoslavia has several distinct languages in addition to many very different dialects, and more religious diversity. Also Romanians aren't as less edgy than Yugoslav, less likely to commit the atrocities that can generate that rejections between parts of the country. Overall Czechoslovakia is the actual weirder case, languages and groups in question are way more similar to each other than in Yugoslavia, and there was no bad blood.

Unlike Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia, Romania was less of an artificial modernist project. While sure, Wallachia and Moldavia were separate principalities for centuries, they retained at least some sort of common identity (Wallachian authors offered called their country Tara Romaneasca - the Roman/Romanian land).It's quite different in the case of the Slavs. Both Czechs and Slovaks already formed their separate identities. It's even worse in case of Yugoslavia, where not only did you have separate identities (Serbs, Croats, Slovenes Slavic "Muslims" coalescing into Bosniaks, Macedonians being formed, even Montenegrins to a point), but these identities were often opposed to each other. No one was really a "Czechoslovakian" or "Yugoslav".
