Damn that painting makes me mad. It points to the disconnect between our natural, unexamined conceptual life and the conceptual world that is produced when you examine things scientifically. Fair enough. But such deconstruction is cognitively taxing and should only be used to help repair dysfunctional worldviews to make them better.
