Why is there no right to suicide? Shouldn‘t countries that always drone on about individual freedom and choice leave the ultimate choice up to the individual?

Also, fuck off, jannies, this concerns this board since it concerns how politics govern personal rights and freedoms.

>Why is there no right to suicide?
Because your life is not yours to take. It belongs to God.
>>
You do have a natural right to suicide, literally, no one can actually stop you.
>Civil right
It is generally bad form for people to encourage or condone their family or peers to off themselves, it's not good for morale.
>>
best way to die is disease
>despite being the most unreliable also hanging is for people that get hate or break a law

A Buddhist must never entertain the idea of suicide.

To flesh out the post, a story:
>Thales said there was no difference between life and death. "Why, then," said someone to him, "do not you die?" "Because," said he, "it makes no difference"

Of course I understand it‘s bad for society, but under the premise of personal rights and freedoms that our Western democracies uphold, why don’t they give people the choice?

Disease sounds like a horrible way to die.

So basically just wait; something might happen? And if nothing does, one hasn’t lost anything.
