There's no way an actual real human being painted this artwork, no way.
It looks so perfect and beautiful.

Is there any painting that looks like this and takes place in WW1 and WW2?

Why are there no 20th century paintings that resemble this?

How can the bayonetts stand up like this in triangle? Its obviously AI slop.

You use the bend in the bayonet to prop them up. It's also possible without the bayonet for rifles with cleaning rods or gas tubes under their barrels. Or large front sights.

Because battles stopped being fought that way in the 20th century?

If you mean just "battle scene" there are tons of those.

>soldiers from a wide range of battles, but only dating back 50 years to the revolutionary army
This painting is a propaganda work, but it's still shocking that the enlightenment fucked them up this hard. They legitimately had no idea france existed before 1792.

modern war slop

I know there are paintings of battle scenes, but they don't hit the same. I want to see paintings set in WW1 or WW2 and be able to carry this level of romanticism, this level of beauty.

It's like: stop being lazy your whole life and make a video game worth playing. This old stuff is for women who hate the brotherhood and those who have experienced greatness many times over are numb about the old things in every museum, meh, meh, meh. I've experienced way better many more times.

Not as romantic, more realistic, but the only modern painter that comes to mind is Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau, a Spanish that focuses on Spanish military history

>Be born before electricity
>You have to pretty much figure out how to entertain yourself from day 1
>Decide you like painting
>Start practicing as a child
>Paint is expensive and you can't CTRL+Z a mistake so you're forced to get good at it
>Can spend literally entire days doing nothing but paint with no distractions
>By the time you're in your 20s you already have more experience than most modern people will have with painting in their entire lifetimes
Is it really that surprising?
