>so its turtles all the way down then?
>no. the turtle doesn't stand on anything.
>huh?
>that's just how it is. once upon a time there was nothing, which then exploded.

This is what some of our friends on this board actually believe.
>>
>>18002788
0! = 100%, they not only believe it, they have absolute mathematical proof.
>>
>>18002788
>once upon a time there was nothing, which then exploded.
Nobody actually says this though.
>>
>guy who believes in a magic flying rabbi says the world's scientists are wrong.
>>
>>18003038
The math says it and everyone who believes in math, uses it, and understands that the value of nothing is quantized as the mathematical element 0 implicitly agrees even if they don't explicitly state it in those terms.
>>
>>18003039
But many of the world's scientists also believe in magic flying rabbis, the two things are not mutually exclusive.
>>
>>18003039
>>18003043
In fact, the scientist who came up with the big bang theory in the first place was a big magic flying rabbi fan.
>>
>>18002788
Things can come from nothing or else free will wouldn't exist
>>
>>18003065
Free will doesn't exist, your will is dictated by your form, so it can't free.
>>
>>18003045
The person who came up with the Big Bang Theory posited that it must've been a singularity as this would've been more in-line with Christian creation narrative but no serious cosmologist thinks the Big Bang was the single point of the creation of reality itself, just the earliest expansion event of spacetime we can reliably measure
>>
>>18003083
The person who came up with that slop for retards was also a cucktholic priest. And I'm pretty certain he was a LARPer because his early life points to him being jewish.
>>
>>18002788
>once upon a time there was nothing, which then exploded.
Noone says this; why do you feel tge need to lie?
>>
>>18003043
>many
Still a minority in most scientific branches
>>
>>18003102
Still not mutually exclusive, still enough of them for the big bang theory to have been formulated by a magic flying rabbi sycophant and popularized by the catholic church.
>>
>>18003083
We can't measure the past reliably, we can only extrapolate past points from current measurements and hope current measurements accurately reflect the past.
>>
>>18002788
I don't. Some kind of matter always had to exist. Also it's probably circular, the Big Bang is just how the last iteration of the universe ended, and on a long enough timeline it's just an eternal recurrence since a finite variation of things can happen.

Same with space. It's not really infinite, it just bends into itself in the 4th dimension. If you travel long enogh in one direction, you will arrive back where you started like in those video games where if you reach the end of the screen you pop back on the other side.

>>
>>18003100
You didn't even read what people have already said in the 11 post thread you posted to, how would you know what people throughout all of reality have said?
>>
>>18003113
>Some kind of matter always had to exist.
Matter isn't even a conserved quality, we know to create it and annihilate it with antimatter. The big bang theory doesn't even claim that matter existed in the early epochs.
>>
>>18003118
Matter is just another form of energy. We have ability to touch things and feel them, but on subatomic level, we aren't actually touching anything. What you see isn't how it really is.
All atomic relations are caused by forces that aren't what you know as "physical", they're instead a flow of energy.
Plasma caused by electricity e.g. during lightning is a rare occurence where you can see a shadow of its true form with your own eyes.
>>
>>18003124
>Matter is just another form of energy
No, energy is what happens when you mix matter with space over time, matter is built into the definition of matter, not the other way around, units of matter are in kilograms while units of energy are in kilograms times meter squared over time squared.
>>
>>18003131
Delusional retard.
When you push against a wall, it's not that it's solid, you just aren't using enough energy to make it move.
There's no such thing as a wall. There's only states of energy that bond so hard that we can confine ourselves inside from outside world.
But when enemy's artillery shell falls on top of it and kills you, then you will learn what real energy feels like.
>>
>>18003135
Sure, I am going to trust the wall is not a wall guy to define what is delusional or not.

Energy is derivative and requires matter, matter is fundamental, energy is derived from matter moving through space over time while matter is just mass.
>>
>>18003138
You probably live in USA which means that you're on the opposite side of the world, and 0 matter has been transmitted for your retarded take to reach my brain, because it's all about energy.
>>
>>18003142
Because energy transmits through matter and space over time, a chain of devices and electrons all vibrate like those balls on strings so that the last one moves how it does because of what happened to the first ball in the chain, you can't transfer the energy without the matter because the matter is primary and the energy is derived from matter in space over time.
>>
>>18003144
Ah yes, because in space, there's aether as opposed to literally nothing, right? Light doesn't travel through a vacuum because you said so?
Take your meds, deranged schizo.
>>
>>18003145
No, there are particles moving in space over time just like there are balls hanging from strings bumping into each other, space is not a perfect vacuum, the perfect vacuum exists in between any particular point and itself, the vacuum is what allows the balls to eventually collide where there is nothing between them and is why the energy is always transferred rather than ever being destroyed.
>>
>>18003149
Completely irrelevant to the fact that light isn't affected by them in any meaningful way and the fact that there aren't enough of them, to the point where the vacuum technically is perfect and everything holds true.
You're just a retarded pseud. The kind of subhuman who big bang lie was invented for.
>>
>>18003156
Sure, if you just say things aren't meaningful and declare your thing to be technically perfect even though its clearly not, you totally must be correct and aren't at all delusional and ignoring inconvenient realities.
>>
>>18002788
What's so hard about saying that it was God who started the big bang? Doing so doesn't actually go against the bible in any way.
>>
>>18002788
Simply put, evidence supports something like this happening. People refer to it a certain way, but the name “big bang” is just illustrative to explain what some of the evidence was suggesting. The connection between evidence and theory is an interesting one and worth reading about. Also, not all scientists are the same.
>>
>>18003161
There's so few things in space that you call "particles" that they never hit eachother.
Whether they exist is irrelevant if end result is the same.
>>
>>18003190
Yet is is relevant because all that stuff clearly gets in the way of the photons and the photons are clearly reacting with things as they travels from source to destination even if the scope is so big you lose context and meaning.
>>
>>18003196
Remember to take your meds tonight.
>>
>>18003197
Do you need meds to come up with your perfect technicalities and assume everyone else is just like you or something?
>>
>>18003203
No, I function without meds. But you clearly do not.
>>
>>18003205
I am not the one hallucinating perfect technicality and delusionally trying to pretend like trillions of particles of mass don't exist and can't be measured and seen with telescopes.
>>
>>18003206
I wonder how do they reach the telescopes if there's matter obstructing said mass.
It's almost like light isn't matter and doesn't travel through it.
>>
>>18003208
Are you confused about how ocean creatures communicate with sound waves too, you think they are all silently trapped in place because the mass of water surrounding them is completely obstructing them and their ability to move or transfer energy?
>>
>>18003213
It's pitch black darkness with no light anywhere to be found at the bottom of the ocean, retard.
>>
>>18003215
And since we know that water is exponentially more dense than air and air is exponentially more dense than space, you don't think that has anything to do with it?
>>
>>18003225
The only thing that's exponentially dense is your skull if you don't understand that despite the distance between Sun and Earth + atmosphere, it still burns our eyes if we stare directly into it, because there's absolutely NOTHING to protect them.
>>
>>18003227
So you that that air isn't made of particles because you can't stare at the sun?
>>
>>18003236
Take your meds and read my posts again, because I'm not going to repeat myself.
>>
>>18003115
I have revealed knowledge; now answer why you lied
>>
>>18003124
Energy isn't a "thing" it's a quantity just like weight or volume
>>
>>18003240
The way we measure weight or volume is through energy readings. Energy is real, while weight and volume is made up.
>>
>>18003243
That doesn't make energy a thing, you are still measuring a quantity; there is no such thing as energy by itself
>>
>>18003252
Why do we eat food?
>>
>>18003256
Because we need chemical reactions to move cellular machinery; you are still conflating the measured quantity with a physical object
>>
>>18003258
>chemical reactions
I wonder what chemical bonds look like under microscope kek.
I wonder why we get hot and sweaty when we move our bodies which simply uses ATP... I wonder what happens during chemical reactions, heh... Midwits, not even once.
>>
>>18003262
Chemical bonds are exages of photons as described by quantum mechanics; there is nothing you can point to where energy is a thing in itself
>>
>>18002788
concession accepted dumb bot
>>
>>18003262
>wonder why we get hot and sweaty when we move our bodies which simply uses ATP...
Chemical reactions produce photons that exite other atoms; sweat evaporates slowing down the vibration aka cooling you down

>I wonder what happens during chemical reactions, heh... Midwits, not even once.

During cjemical rections there are releases of photons with adeguate energies (frequncy*planck constant)

I'd abstain from calling anyone a midwit
>>
>>18003275
What's physical form of heat, where is it?
>>
>>18003279
Heat is literally the movement of particles, you clearly know very little about this.
>>
>>18003282
So light is a particle now?
>>
>>18003286
Are you going to aknowledge you were wrong at every turn?
>>
>>18003286
>A photon (from Ancient Greek φῶς, φωτός (phôs, phōtós) 'light') is an elementary particle that is a quantum of the electromagnetic field, including electromagnetic radiation such as light and radio waves, and the force carrier for the electromagnetic force. Photons are massless particles that can only move at one speed, the speed of light measured in vacuum. The photon belongs to the class of boson particles.
>>
>>18003040
>The math says it
it doesn't

Imagine believing that Reality just is, and you just are. Couldn't be me.
>>
>>18003038
the bible does
