History? No thanksI prefer the present and the future
time is relative, there is no present
I think futurist utopianism is cozy
>>18012056I like observing centrists and liberals when they daydream about future utopianism because their fantasy is clearly just a world without brown people or where the brown people magically act white
>>18012057>make statement about futurist optimism>retard immediately ruins it by making it about their personal politicsPresentism is a bad faith argument for both past events as well as a speculative future and you should know this
History can be interesting, but if your goal is the future, your priority is what you can influence today.
but the future is already the past OP. your words are already in the past, an echo of a though you had at 09/21/25(Sun)01:17:52, 8 minutes and 6 seconds ago. the rays of the suns light currently hitting the earths atmosphere are not even the same rays of light that were hitting it when you wrote your statement. how can you ever know the future when it is black mist? how can one ever know the present when it is a fleeting moment, a flash of lightning? the past is all that can be recorded and observed with any meaningful effect
