Has America ever been in a justifiable "no bullshit" war? or has it all just been contrived bullshit and wasted lives? If it makes the question simpler you can answer it AFTER WW2 if t helps. this is a legitimate question im not framing this from some right wing or left wing angle. i admittedly dont know a lot about history. I remember in the 90s and 2000s there being a lot of patriotism and a lot of people going into the military to "defend" america. (especially after 9/11) but as i learn more about different wars america has been involved in im starting to wonder if the lives of american soldiers have just been thrown away for stupid bullshit for decades.
>Mexican-American War>Spanish-American War>War of 1812 (The British were blatantly using Indians to skirt the Treaty of Paris)
>>18012076The only wars America fought that weren't justified were Korea and Vietnam. The GWOT was justified because it was a retaliation to real terrorist attacks and Desert Storm was justified because Saddam was a madman who declared war on the west.

The US intervention in Vietnam was completely justified. Sure, domino theory was speculative, but Communism was destroying East Asia.
