If Juno Beach had failed, how much would it have affected the overall success of D-Day? Especially given how far inland the Canadians pushed compared to the other beaches, could Gold and Sword have carried the gap, or would the whole invasion risk collapse?
>>
German panzer divisions could have concentrated on the surviving Allied beachheads, potentially pushing forces back into the sea.

Not that relevant considering the progress the Soviets were making, the US development of the B-29 superfortress, and increasing production of P-51s and P-47 thunderbolt, and endless produciton of B-17s. The US destroyed the Nazi air defenses, was bombing the country's manufacturing and supply lines, and the first nuclear weapons were supposed to be use on Germany had the war lasted long enough because Japan was a certain victory.
