If you said that publicly in Saudi Arabia or a similar caliphate you'd be screwed.

There is no 'being gay', gay is not an identity, but the result of people's wounds in infancy:

Facing them helps healing.

cute boys =/= gay

That's what he's looking for though

>>18019582
I prefer not to act on my gayness, not only out of fear of hell but also because as St. John Chrysostom put it: even if hell wouldn't exist, this act would be worse than any punishment and death would be more honourable.
>>
>>18019782
That quote is hilarious, but true, because the act is abuse to the body and soul.

yeah, the evil jews which actually care about your morality, literally even Philo of Alexandria wrote that the gentiles should eliminate such people and practices among their owns
>>
>>18020004
What's immoral about it
>>
>>18019582
You're never coming back from the grave.
>>
>>18019782
You are still proud and evil for not trying to free yourself from this sin, unless you believe that homosexuality is genetic or inherent to your being.
>>
Does gayness make sense i think it does. If you have too much access to cummies you forget the alternative.

You can stop there. It's 2025 and this is a completely anonymous forum. It's fine to admit you like it and that's why you don't stop. I'm not your dad, I'm not going to order you to change. I'm not going to demand a stronger logical rationale, there is none. None is needed. Your suffering in the political wilderness can end, brother.

Sextus Empiricus, Outlines of Pyrrhonism:
>For example, amongst us sodomy is regarded as shameful or rather illegal, but by the Germani, they say, it is not looked upon as shameful but as a customary thing.

The Book of the Laws of Countries, by Philip, a disciple of Bardaisan:
>In the North, however, in the territory of the Germans and their neighbours, the boys who are handsome serve the men as wives, and a wedding feast, too, is held then. This is not considered shameful or a matter of contumely by them, because of the law obtaining among them.

hmm, should I take a rational approach to this information? No, I will reinforce my own bias and call the other person a faggot. And since I'm neither person and have no bias, you're both faggots.

Following Jesus Christ is not about what our flesh prefers or not, but to follow the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Embrace living for the Saviour and take up your cross daily. We all have challenges to overcome during our brief lives on this Earth until we meet the Lord. Resist sinfulness as much as you could, and repent of your sins. Temptations can be resisted.

>>18021816
ok but that's just a metapor for correct action. it doesn't explain anything.

Why is this place so obssessed with religion?
>>
>>18021886
Someone associates western civilization with christianity. An outsider of course. >>18021675

good for you. all three major abrahamic religions are a cancer anyway. be a faggot, be free

So why is it correlated to digit ratio? And why are identical twins separated at birth more likely than population base rate to be gay if the other is?
>>
>>18019667
I think it's true in theory, but there has never been a worse time in history to be heterosexual given how entitled and unloyal women have become, so the gay guys may as well stay gay
>>
>>18020548
It's probably at least partly biological.

The expression "corpori infames" is not at all unambiguous as having meant homosexuals.
>>
>>18022052
"Men foul in regard to the body", what else comes to your mind?
>>

I don't know, committers of some other sexual offense such as rape or incest? Also, from Livy:
>ceterum transfugam sine magnae rei proditione venientem ad hostes nihil aliud quam unum vile atque infame corpus esse ratus id agebat ut quam maximum emolumentum novis sociis esset.
"Homosexual" doesn't really make sense as an interpretation here.
>>
Original
>Distinctio poenarum ex delicto. Proditores et transfugas arboribus suspendunt, ignavos et imbelles et corpore infames caeno ac palude, iniecta insuper crate, mergunt.
>Diversitas supplicii illuc respicit, tamquam scelera ostendi oporteat, dum puniuntur, flagitia abscondi

Translation
>Punishments are varied according to the nature of the crime. Traitors and deserters are hung upon trees: cowards, dastards, and those guilty of unnatural practices, are suffocated in mud under a hurdle.
>This difference of punishment has in view the principle, that villainy should be exposed while it is punished, but turpitude concealed

We know that "unnatural practices" has nothing to do with treason or desertion, which are somehow viewed as more honourable, and thus deserving of a cleaner execution.
This is something viewed as filthy. Could be anything sexual, in my view, but surely not something non-sexual, as in Livy's case, given that "cowards" and "dastards" are separate entries

Tacitus uses the phrase elsewhere with the meaning "passive homosexual".
>>
>>18022314
In what passage?
>>
>>18022340
“The Latin phrase corpore infamis means literally ‘with a bad reputation because of (or with respect to) one’s body’; Tacitus later uses it of an actor . . . and a variation, mollitia corporis infamis, ‘with a bad reputation because of the effeminacy of his body’, of a senator . . . There is little question that the phrase served as a euphemism for the pathicus or cinaedus, an effeminate man who enjoyed taking the passive sexual role with other men. Since such men were assumed to be inherently cowardly, it is likely enough that all three of the terms Tacitus uses here denotes one class of person, rather than two separate classes of cowards and passive homosexuals” (J. B. Rives, Tacitus. Germania. Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1999. p. 174).
>>
>>18022346
What of the fact that not all homosexuals are in fact cowards?

average gay science enjoyer. I have the manliest hands you've ever seen, does that mean I can't do gay shit? Well I have news for you anon. All these candidates for biological determinism fall flat because they don't prevent people exercising free will. Similarity to someone else like a twin is insufficient, even though twins are so similar it raises fundametal questions of individuality. Still not enough to take away their free will and force them to be one way.
