Let me guess, you have never studied architecture, right?

Here's a hot take: Richard Neutra and Frank Lloyd Wright Jr.'s architectural work in Southern California is iconic mid-20th centuria, and modern copycat post-internationalists give their work a bad name

Idk I like brutalists and the modernists.

Why post the fucking picture if you are trying to make a real point. That building was designed to be as cheap as humanly possible while meeting safety standards.

This is less about lack of study and more about cost.
Buildings today are sealed with glue to keep water out. Old buildings needed complex shapes to keep water out. Minimalism as an architectural style is dying out though, but im not sure the neon genesis angel rubix cube design you posted is any better. But the reason it exists is cost. A large amount of modern resources is dedicated to keeping blacks breeding, so theres less for the built environment around us.

>Noooo everything has to look neoclassical forever! Stop making new things
I personally like sleeker designs

I like how it narrows the gap between indoor and outdoor spaces but the repetitive design and modern materials (glass and concrete instead of wood and stone) makes it appear cold and sterile

This has nothing to do with architects. These types of buildings are simply cheaper to build and everything is about money nowadays. Architects are artists and are well aware of the fact that these type of buildings are ugly as sin

Real life has never and will never look like a Dark Souls game

megacities could easily look like that. You just don't want that because you don't have a faustian soul

Architects design hideous buildings all the time kek
