If Italy had joined the Central Powers instead of the Entente, would Germany have cucked them out of the land they were promised like Britain and France did?
They didn't have anything to offer Italy besides Tunisia. Corsica, Savoia, Nice were economically worthless. Trieste on the other hand was the most important port in the Mediterranean, and Trentino and Istria were full of ethnic Italians who hated Austria and wanted to be part of Italy.

Austria-Hungary would have never willingly ceded Trentino to Italy. This territory was integral to the empire’s defense and strategic interests.
