Why don't religious healers ever restore severed limbs? It's always about healing the deaf/blind (conditions that can be faked) or healing infectious disease (something the immune system can overcome).

You dont see faith healers working in hospitals for the same reason fortune tellers don't win the lottery every week

>Salama b. al-Akwa‘’s leg was struck and split open by a sword; Allah’s Messenger breathed onto it, and the leg was at once healed.
>Ali b. al-Hakam’s leg was broken by the blow of an unbeliever. The Noble Messenger (Upon whom be blessings and peace) rubbed it. At the moment he did so, it was healed so that ‘Ali b. al-Hakam did not even dismount from his horse.
>Yasaf was struck on the shoulder by a sword so that he received a grievous wound with part of it almost severed. The Noble Messenger (Upon whom be blessings and peace) joined the arm and shoulder back together again and breathed on it, and it was healed
>“The hero Mu‘awwidh b. ‘Afra’, one of the fourteen martyrs of the Battle of Badr, had his hand cut off by Abu Jahl the Accursed while fighting with him. He took the hand with his other hand and went to the Noble Messenger (Upon whom be blessings and peace). Allah’s Messenger stuck the hand in its place and spread his spittle over it. It was at once healed. Mu‘awwidh went again to fight and continued to do so until he was martyred.”
Not many prophets faced wars or situations where limbs were cut off. Anyway Jesus literally resurrected people in the bible, how can that be faked?

Is a person with missing limbs begging to be healed putting God to the test?
>>
Most miracle stories involve pain relief, ambiguous enough to allow interpretation as divine intervention.

>or healing infectious disease (something the immune system can overcome).
