I don't get what point you're trying to make. It's extremely easy to circumscribe a circular foundation on the earth with fairly regular radius. All you need is a length of rope and either another person to hold it or a stake to drive into the center of the circle. Then you simply walk while keeping the rope taut at the central point and dragging your heel or another stick through the dirt to mark the edge of the structure. Voila, you now have an approximately perfect circle to build around.
