How do we know that there weren't real witches in the late 1600s and that the Puritans weren't right to execute them? For all we know, the reason we don't have real witches today is because the Puritans took care of the problem for us.
>>

Around that time is when the church body began poisoning itself to death and cliques of holdouts manifested some of the last true miracles.
>>

>How do we know that there weren't real witches in the late 1600s

because witches never existed retard. Every village had a grandmother type figure who used to make herbal remedies/potions for some money and they were called "Wiccans". Later Christcucks, the deceptive mongrels that they are wanted that old women's land and property so they started branding these women with herbal remedies as witches, killed them and grabbed their land.

The Christian mongrels should have been put to death long time ago. This religion is a jewish disease
>>
>>18026439
> Herbal remedies
True. But they also sell lethal poisons and that is what witch hunts were about.
>>
>>18026439
>because witches never existed retard.
And you know that how?
>>
Some of the bewitchments we read about may have been caused by illnesses like mass psychogenic illness.
>>
>>18026445
>what witch hunts were about

witch hunts were about these old grannies "consorting with devil". It had nothing to do with any poison.

Also i doubt a woman in her old age would suddenly start selling poison when she did nothing of that sort before. As the old saying goes, follow the money. The Christcucks wanted land of these old pagan women and easiest way to get their property was to brand them as witches and confiscate their property for themselves.

YOU DONT HATE CHRISTKEKS ENOUGH
>>
>>18026450
>And you know that how?

calling someone a witch or claiming an old women "consorting with devil" is an extraordinary claim.

Why dont you provide proof for your extraordinary claim?
>>
>>18026463
I never said there was proof that there were witches. I just questioned your stated 100% belief that there wasn't. You need proof for that.
>>
>>18026457
>>18026439
This has some truth to it but there were people going around performing non Christian rituals. I'm talking about stuff like bringing death and misfortune upon thier target rituals. If any of them ever knew how to conjure something deadly then they may have done so. This was going on just around the time of the pilgrims too.
>>
>>18026457
The devil was the alibi for normies. Rome already had trouble with domestic and political poisonings, you don't want the normies to know about belladona and shit like that
>>
>>18026470
There is at least one case of witchcraft terror perpetrated by a frenzied preacher or disgruntled nieghbor. There are also cases where the testimonies are more specific and the witnesses more reliable.
None of these witch or heresy movement are ever completely unfounded.
>>
>>18026470
>I never said there was proof that there were witches. I just questioned your stated 100% belief that there wasn't. You need proof for that.

are you retarded? Genuine question
>>
>>18026483
There are serial killers and mass shooters these days. You really think people never did bad shit in history?
>>
>>18026483
I am just saying that you can't know with 100% certainty.
>>
>>18026407
>For all we know, the reason we don't have real witches today is because the Puritans took care of the problem for us.
I assume this is a joke but I'll still say the reason that doesn't make sense is that the root cause of witchcraft was supposed to be Satan. As long as Satan is around he could still teach people to be witches.
>>
>>18026472
>This has some truth to it but there were people going around performing non Christian rituals

Performing Pagan rituals like praying to old folksy gods of your ancestors isnt a crime.
> I'm talking about stuff like bringing death and misfortune upon thier target rituals. If any of them ever knew how to conjure something deadly then they may have done so. This was going on just around the time of the pilgrims too.

If an old woman living in a hut is so powerful that she can bring death and misfortune upon you and your Jewish rabbi Yeshua cant stop it, then maybe your jewish rabbi Yeshua is too weak and doesnt deserve worship?
>>
Magic isn't real.
>>
>>18026495
Perhaps Satan has changed his methods. Perhaps he has found more success in more underhanded schemes than with overt power. Perhaps it was the power of these witches that drove people to God for protection.
>>
It didn’t start with the grannies but with teenage girls doing witchy stuff, spurred on by a slave girl from the islands who would have come from a voudou background. Then they started accusing other women in the community—grannies but also respectable tradwives and men. We’ve seen enough of mass formation psychosis lately that it’s easy to imagine that in a frontier theocracy.
>>
>>18026497
5/10 made me chuckle. You really think a fervent enough churchfolk is going to let people wish death and misfortune upon others in ritualistic fashion? Christianity has always been against this. Moreover if you perform these rituals in a Monarchal Country against the Monnarch or those in his favor and not get punished? LMAFO.
I've never heard of someone getting punished for just regular folksy Pagan rituals past maybe around 1400 or so. Though it probably happened somewhere. Those cases didnt generate as much reaction. Typically specifically anti Christian or ill will was the target.
>>
>>18026508
In places where that sort of thing happened land hungry envious people seemed to play a big part. Anti heretical zelotry was used by unscrupulous priests and church goers. This did happen but entertainment in some places makes it seem like thats the only way it ever happened. People made abortion brews too that could turn women sterile forever or covered up in discrete sexual encounters. We all know how much Christians love abortion and pre marital sex.

except we do have witches today. what we dont have is werewolfs because the catholics killed them all. sloppy job protestants.
>>
In the most famous witchcraft trials in the US and UK, both feature women openly claiming to be witches, and no, they weren't tortured or forced to say it.
>>
I don't think magic is real, but demonic possession certainly is
Just look at leftists/transgenders today
>>
>>18026439
Witches do exist. The only thing that's questionable is whether or not they have powers they boast of.
>>
>>18026407
The witches did exist. They would live somewhere isolated in the forest and spend the day collecting drugs and hallucigenons. Then they would cook all that in a big pot until it became a sticky mass. Then they would smear that mass onto a broom, undress, and 'ride' the broom onto their pussy to get high. This is NOT a joke, you can look it up.
>>
>>18026407
They were real and they were good
>>
>>18026856
>In the most famous witchcraft trials in the US and UK, both feature women openly claiming to be witches, and no, they weren't tortured or forced to say it.

just because a mentally ill bitch says she can fly on a broom doesnt mean she can retard. People make wild claims
>>
>>18026491
you really think pacts with a nonexistent devil are among the bad shit people can do?
>>
>>18026856
>they weren't tortured or forced to say it.
may you live under a totalitarian dictature like theocratic Europe was back then, so that you can appreciate the calculus of 'either I confess and get executed or I get tortured until I confess abd then get executed'.
>>
>>18026445
>But they also sell lethal poisons and that is what witch hunts were about.
no. witches were defined as people who made a pact with the devil, getting magic powers and/or supernatural knowledge in return. there always were laws against poisoners, there would not have been a need to rename it 'witchcraft' and go on a frenzy over it.
>>
>>18026407
so are we going to ignore that the woman is manifesting the wrath of Zeus to save herself from the persecution of evildoers?
>>
>>18026407
>For all we know, the reason we don't have real witches today is because the Puritans took care of the problem for us.

You're sadly mistaken. And more likely a poor troll.

They wouldn't be pandering crap like this to kids and teens, as if to groom them into the practice of this stuff.
>>
>>18027546
>They wouldn't be pandering crap like this to kids and teens, as if to groom them into the practice of this stuff.

I would be more comfortable around a women practicing Pagan rituals than around a pedophile Catholic priest.
>>
>>18027542
the Malleus Maleficarum explicitly states that god does not allow the devil to protect his minions in case of prosecution.
>>
>>18026407
the catholics from spain and ireland were smart to know that witches did not exist
unfortunately the black legend did a big number against catholicism despite all the good they did for the world
