There are mundane purposes in life, for an atheist, not a singular "transcendental one that dictates all existence and being and that which isn't nothing for forever and that ever was". Lies spun for bored people to control them. It's easy to call someone immoral when they aren't given a rulebook that can be found in every hotel room in the US about how to live. The study of history is and must be harder than that.
