Faith.... the "substance" of things hoped for. I imagine it's the same "substance" that forms your dreams at night. Especially your vivid dreams. It's why God says that He can see our thoughts whenever we are thinking, or even fantasizing about stuff.Psalms 139:1-2>[1]Lord, you have examined me and you know me.>[2]You know everything I do; from far away you understand all my thoughts.Which is one of the reasons we were told not to think sexual or offensive thoughts when looking at someone (He knows WHY you look at pr0n, or even why you obsess over that fetish or kink. But He wants you to stop). He can definitely see our hopes and literal dreams. It's also why we have those moments when someone or something that you were thinking of just so happens to appear in front of you. And you find yourself going, "oh, I was just thinking of this thing! What a coincidence!!". Or, you may be paranoid of something or someone. And lo and behold, you just so happen to have an encounter with it. Like, your fear actually becomes a reality (your child not making it home that day, someone steals your car, you end up mugged at gunpoint, etc).Proverbs 10:24>[24]The righteous get what they want, but the wicked will get what they fear most.
>>18027755Zamnn we got a go who doesn't know how to read. The substance is the physical expression. When you read the examples of those of faith in the chapter it describes what they did. Brush up on reading comprehension please
>>18027761>it describes what they didBut they wouldn't have done it if they didn't believe in it first. "Faith by hearing, hearing by the word of God". First you hear. Then you give it some thought................ THEN you act on it via physical expression. Not the other way around.
>>18027781Yes but the thought only cannot be called faith. If a man is faithful to his wife than it denotes actions same for a man who js not faithful. Faith then is not a belief only but a way you live your life
