>US still a freak show
>>
>>18032492
with the irish yeah. biden was pissing at one of americas main allies because of it.
>>
>>18032492
Calling people "hyphenated-americans" in the early 20th century was propaganda to get immigrants, particularly Germans and Irish, to accept war with Germany while allied with Britain.
>>
>>18032492
Yes, first gen immigrants are most likely to be loyal to their homeland more than their new home. Then their children will be the same if they don't integrate and assimilate, like we're seeing a lot in Europe with Nafris, Canada with Indians, and US with mexicans.

projecting

>>18032492
Is what historically true?
That americans saw a danger of split loyalties in immigrants? Sure.
That immigrants had split loyalties? Many likely did, but it varied a lot on the country of origin and how long they meant to stay.
Italians and germans for example were very likely to retain a lot of affection for their homeland, with krauts actively trying to germanize their areas in the 19th century and italians being openly accepting of fascist agents and their open propaganda/lobbying efforts.
>>
>>18032506
Him and the Irish aren't carrying bombs and the German's US side isn't black.

"Muh race" retards prove themselves as historically illiterate as ever. Fucking we wuz-tier faggotry

Reminder that Fascism was a healthy defensive reflex Italians developed while living in the US.
>>
>>18032642
Italians carry stilettos, not bombs.
>>
>>18032649
Wow I didn't not know that Mussolini used to live in Murrica.

>italians being openly accepting of fascist agents

they still do, biggest supporters of Trump. 90% italians vote Trump

I'm fascinated by how modern Uncle Sam's face looks. This could have been drawn in 1950 or 2000
>>
>>18032610
Though I do think nativists should retvrn to saying "I'm an American-American"
>>
>>18032613
>and US with mexicans.
Preposterous, there is no particular loyalty to mexico by 2nd+ generation mexican immigrants.
>>
>>18032492
No. This is propaganda from a time when the US was increasingly paranoid about political saboteurs from Europe, which was going through instability and revolts. Basically none of those groups actually hyphenated their nationality. What would be the point? You're just painting a target on your back.
>>18032613
American spics can't even speak Spanish anymore.
>>
>>18032492
Yes, demographics are the bedrock of politics.

Do you think the Founding Fathers produced the white population of the United States by impregnating each other?

Yes my father is a Nazi and was a supporter of Nazis during WWII and he was also an immigrant for Germany. He was imprisoned for trying to sabotage a munitions depot in 43.
>>
>>18032492
I will impregnate a black bitch if you can convince me that race is not real.
>>
>>18032699
I meant literal card carrying party members working for the italian embassy, not people subscribing to fascism is general.
>>
>>18032492
This comic is making fun of people who believe this, but none of you can see the actual subtext. Notice how childish Uncle Sam looks in this comic, with his arms crossed and pouting.

The actual cartoonist of the comic was an Austrian immigrant who detested this sort of thinking.
>>
Yes. It was a common 19th–20th century Europe phenomena for those mutts to move to America and corrupt it with their degenerate culture.
